The door creaked as it swung open, throwing up eddies of dust that
glinted in the fading rays of a springtime sunset as they slanted
through the doorway. Heavy leather boots scuffed the floor, and the
traveller sighed as he let his pack slide from his shoulder to rest
against the wall. The chain mail under his surcoat clinked a little as
he did.
His calm blue eyes scanned the interior of the Dragon's Inn. After a
moment, the traveller sighed again.
"You really can't go home again," he said quietly.
