Hi,
Does anyone know how or where to go to download a copy of the entire
InterNIC whois database?

I know this is possible but I've spent hours looking for a place to
find this or someone to contact to request this

anyone have any inputs or perhaps even some experience with this?

There is probably 10's of thousands of domain names in flux every day
besides the millions of them that already exist. Download the whole thing?

I know there used to be services that could provide information on domains
going back to when they were first created and all the updates to it since
that point, but they are/were charging by the domain name (each).

A long time ago Internic used to handle everything with registration but
these days with dozens if not hundreds of registars, it's not likely "the
whole thing" is available to anyone, period.

You have to work out agreements with the respective registry. I
believe Verisign holds all of the .com, .net, and .edu information.
