can you recommend a UK domain name registrar ?

Hi
I need to buy a domain name (.com). i would like one from a company
that is
UK based and won't give me any hassle about transfers etc. Also one
with proper DNS pointing - no framework stuff - total DNS control.
Ideally a Tucows reseller... I have hosting sorted out so just need
the most basic name
purchase.

ie can anyone recommend a hassle-free domain registrar.

-- want to pay in sterling
-- not fussed about the price
-- DNS control
-- no extras, just a basic .com name
-- ideally a Tucows reseller (heard Joker ones are a hassle to
transfer)

They have great prices on domain names, and their management interface
is pretty good.

Get a free enom (the 2nd largest registrar) reseller from here to start
registering them for cheap: www.startname.com/reseller
