And I thought you have to be degree granting institution in order
to register a .edu name. When did that change?

Anyone got the guts to register this baby??? OK you would have to be
crazy to buy this name...best we leave it for Bill and his
lawyers....but the fact that it is available (10th Jan 2000) is pretty
amazing.

I found out about it through the weekly list of 3000 - 5000 expired
domains names that I subscribe too.

I've posted to this group before and had people slag this list off...but
it really is worth a look if your serious about domain speculation.. The
only reason I can imagine as that they don't want too many people
finding out about it...

Your right registration of .edu, is restricted to "use by four-year,
degree-granting colleges and universities;"

The point is that it became available this week and showed up on the
weekly list...not bad ...I'd like to know how he does it though!
