Cancer attacks Aries's selfishness and aggressiveness with the
emotional attachments required for long-term existence as a family and
a tribe. The result of this evolution is Leo, the leader. Leo attacks
Taurus's stubbornness, bull-headedness and eyes-to-the-ground pursuit
of personal property with leadership and common purpose. The result of
this evolution is Virgo, the worker and artisan dedicated to making
his environment the best. Virgo attacks Gemini's lack of ethics and
discrimination with attention to detail and demand for perfection. The
result of this evolution is Libra, the sign of balance and beauty and
justice dedicated to pursuit of perfection and creation of cultural
ideal. Libra attacks Cancer's emotional and tribal bonds with reason,
with intellect, with demands of fairness and objectivity. The result
of this evolution is Scorpio, the sign of emotional insight and
passion and transformative energy. Scorpio attacks Leo's
self-righteousness and pomposity with the reality of human emotion and
effect of action on the little man. The result of this evolution is
Sagittarius, the wise man. Sagittarius attacks Virgo's
narrow-mindedness with broad perspective and wisdom. The result of
this evolution is Capricorn, the architect, the empire-builder, the
craftsman of the civilization. Capricorn attacks Libra's
wishy-washiness and self-obsession with the harshness of life and the
facts of living in a civilization. The result is Aquarius, the mind of
the civilization, the scientist, the innovator, the humanitarian.
Aquarius attacks Scorpio's vindictive warlike nature and meanness with
objectivity and humanitarianism. The result is Pisces, where selfish
passions change into spirit, faith and compassion for all that lives.
Pisces dissolves Sagittarius's bloat and incoherence, resulting in
Aries, the individual heading out for the new frontier. Aries attacks
Capricorn's constraint on the individual, resulting in Taurus, the
individual set on creating a nest for himself. Taurus attacks
Aquarius's rigidity and lack of affinity for reality with hard-headed
realism of its desire for comfort and self-perpetuaton, resulting in
Gemini, the salesman, the journalist, the go-between who studies
people and adapts to and provide for their different needs. Gemini
attacks Pisces' despair and dissolution with people's demands,
resulting in Cancer, the nurturer who creates a community and raises
children.
The sign of each element feels both reverence for and fear of the next
sign of its element, reflecting a realization of it as the next stage
and the fear of its own mortality. A sign set on becoming perpetual
attacks the next sign of the same element, not realizing that it is
attacking what it itself is meant to become. The sign of each element
feels both warm feelings toward and desire to break with the previous
sign of its element, reflecting the fact of that previous sign as its
former stage that it must evolve out of.
The cycle also proceeds directly along the twelve signs of the zodiac.
Each sign is a neighbor to the next and the preceding signs; the
neighbors that do not happen to reflect stages in its element's
evolution but rather stages in the cycle of life. Like in the
evolution along the elements, the sign can be a good or a bad neighbor
to both its neighboring signs, either attempting to preserving itself
by attacking its next neighbor or looking up to it as the next step,
either asserting itself by breaking with the previous sign or
cultivating it as its roots. To come most fully into its nature, a
sign must make alliance with the next sign of its element and with the
next sign, as these represent its own future. To come most fully into
its role as the productive, contributing member of the cosmic process,
the sign must offer guidance and support to the previous sign of the
same element and to the previous sign.
Taurus gives Aries a sense of reality, while Leo gives Aries a sense
of cause and a sense of glory, transforming it from a selfish bully
into a brave soul leading the civilization into the new frontier.
Gemini gives Taurus an understanding of other people, and Virgo gives
Taurus an environmental perspective, allowing it to become a bulwark
on which society rests. Cancer gives Gemini an understanding of
emotions, and Libra gives Gemini an understanding of the civilization,
allowing it to become the informed disseminator and messenger and
go-between in the civilization. Leo gives Cancer a purpose and fire,
and Scorpio gives it insight into human nature, allowing it to be an
effective nurturer. Virgo gives Leo a sense of the environment, and
Sagittarius gives it wisdom, allowing it to be a good leader. Libra
gives Virgo objectivity and ideals, and Capricorn gives it a role in
the civilization, allowing it to be a worker for the good of the
society. Scorpio gives Libra insight and awareness of human nature,
and Aquarius gives it an intellectual framework, allowing it to be the
judge, the artist, the person implementing the civilization's ideal.
Sagittarius gives Scorpio wisdom and broad perspective, and Pisces
gives it faith and compassion, allowing it to be the healer and the
strategist and the man who deals with the darkness to produce light.
Capricorn gives Sagittarius a place in the civilization, and Aries
gives it posterity, allowing it to be the teacher and the wise man and
the crusader into the new frontier. Aquarius gives Capricorn a sense
of the future and humanitarianism, and Taurus gives it implementation,
allowing it to be the noble architect of the civilization. Pisces
gives Aquarius compassion, and Gemini gives it a way to disseminate
its knowledge, allowing it to be the mind of the civilization. Aries
gives Pisces fire of individuality, and Cancer gives it a way to
nurture the new generation, allowing it to be the soil from which the
new cycle springs.
The signs give to the previous signs, both in the same element and in
the zodiac, what these signs need in order to come into completeness
of their nature in a way that benefits the cycle. They take from the
next sign of the same element the things they need to come into the
fulfilment of themselves without having to go through the wrenching
challenges of the squaring sign. A manifestation of Scorpio that has
learned from Pisces will not need to be broken down by Aquarius, nor
make the errors and crimes that would necessitate the attention of
Aquarius. This attention allows one to prevent trouble both to oneself
and to other people that the nature of each sign would in an of itself
pose. Making alliance with the next sign of the same element and
either incorporating its knowledge if one's in the beginning or middle
of the cycle, or ensuring it as one's future if one is at the end of
the cycle, allows one to avoid much of the pain of existence and
allows one to live a happy, informed, socially productive life.

Shit, you freak, you can make them represent whatever you want them to.
That doesn't make it a fact, or anything other than your deluded fantasy.
Have you stopped getting arrested for masturbating in libraries, you
convicted criminal?

getting caught dumpster diving and masturbating in private libraries.
Prove different, jerkoff.

Jerkin' off in a school lab, dumpster diving, and meaningless
faux-profundity... three of the signs of either congenital brain
damage or a sharp rap in the head.

I hate sharp raps in the head. More so now than ever before.

I almost wish I had written that.
