Jungians should give up the idea of "meaningful coincidences". The
notion of synchronicity only makes people neurotic, and there are no
findings to support such a universal principle. It derives from the
ancient belief that people's thoughts or actions are recompensed by the
gods in the form of material events. So it is archaic thinking. Read my
