http://www.snopes.com/horrors/parental/kidnap.htm -- though I suppose if you
believe that Disney is that effective at hushing things up, you'll just
figure this is part of the conspiracy.
(Incidentally, for anyone who hasn't done so, browsing through
www.snopes.com is both a fascinating way to spend a few hours of time, and a
great defense against all manner of common internet legends, hoaxes and tall
tales.)

No...haven't you heard? They never make it out with the child - the
parents are whisked into a room with hundreds of video monitors. They spot
their child being carried towards the exit. Their child's hair has been
cut, their clothes have been changed, but the kidnappers ALWAYS FORGET TO
CHANGE THE SHOES! So, the parents recognize their child by his/her shoes
and the kidnappers are foiled again! I read all about this everyday
occurrence at http://www.snopes.com so it must be true!!!
Seriously, no. Kidnapping doesn't take place at Disneyland. There was a
(preteen, I think) who went missing overnight, but only because he took the
wrong shuttle and was on busses and shuttles all night trying to get back
to the hotel without asking for help. Seriously. A child probably has
less chance of being kidnapped at Disneyland than they do walking down
their own street.
Now stop talking about this or "they" might come after you. ;-)

Urban legends. Check out the Disney urban legends at www.snopes.com
Marc Plainguet
Disney Executive PATRICK NAUGHTON plead guilty to crossing state lines
to have sex with a minor (a 13 year old girl). HE TOOK THE DISNEY
CORPORATE JET TO MEET HER.
Details here:
http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/1999/48/ns-12018.html
Disney Executives who STILL WORK FOR DISNEY defend PATRICK
NAUGHTON. Details here:
http://www.brillscontent.com/features/risky_1299.html
So, while this ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION didn't happen at the park itself,
DISNEY EXECUTIVES do use DISNEY PROPERTY (i.e., the DISNEY CORPORATE
JET) to meet young girls for sex.

Um..if you check the original post, he asked about "numerous child
abductions at the park." Your story refers to *one* incident which did
*not* occur at the park, and for that matter even the use of "abduction" is
questionable. So, shocking as the incident you refer to may be, it does not
indicate that ther is any "truth to these claims" whatsoever.

Oh, and by the way, if you read the stories pointed to, the guy wasn't a
Disney Executive, either.
