Hubby and I were there Thursday 5/17 too. We had a blast!!! We took the
early entrance and were able to get Indiana Jones, Pirates, Matterhorn,
Space Mountain done all before 10:00 am. The weather was perfect and way
less crowds even with the Pirates thing going on. Did you see the
fireworks on Saturday nite after the premier-awesome!!! They went off
after 11:30 pm. Hubby and I had just snuggled down for the night when
all of a sudden it sounded like bombs going off, we jumped up and ran
out on the balcony-hey there was a quincenara going on at the Jolly
Roger and we wanted to make sure it wasn't gun fire. It wasn't, it was
the fireworks and it was better than the regular fireworks. We spent
Saturday at Disney CA-it was my 1st time there and I was impressed. I
loved Soarin over California!!! We ended our trip a day early-both of us
were dead tired and just wanted to come home. We left Anaheim at 8:00am
and got home at 6:30 pm-drove straight thru. Gotta go for now. Take care
and if you're heading for Disneyland-have FUN!!! Mary

Actually, this time Disney opened the premier to the public, with
all proceeds from the tickets going to Make a Wish. That raised
$2 million, and Disney threw in another $1 million, so the whole
event raised $3 million!

LOL, that certainly wouldn't be *my* routine just before ToT! In
fact, the one time I went on that ride, I had just met up with some
friends and asked whether they would mind postponing lunch for half
an hour so we could go on ToT first. They agreed that that would be
the best approach. :-)

Indeed, it sounds like you had a very pleasant day!
