Just thought I'd pass on a couple of observations I had on my last
trip.

I was there on Saturday Feb 23. When I walked through Tomorrowland, I
noticed that they've added a sort of ray-gun type thing to the stump
of the rocket jets. I've taken that to mean that since they're
repainting and adding to the stuff that's up there, that they're not
going to move them to the entrance of Tomorrowland.

Aladin's Oasis was being used for some kind of storytelling theater.
There were several times listed at the entrance. I didn't get a chance
to go in and check it out.

For the second week in a row, I've witnessed a perfectly executed
Fantasmic! Just wish I could say great job to all the cast members who
perform for that.

That's everything I can remember at the moment.

Hi Maynard,

What you saw (there is a picture of it at our Web site now) is
the base piece for the Observatron - it has nothing to do with the Astro
Orbitor or what will be happening at the entrance to Tomorrowland.

From what I can gather, this is actually the promised Observatron
statue-type thing and not the Astro Orbitor. That ray gun or
whale-harpoon looking thing is probably the mechanism that will "search
for life" every fifteen minutes.

This is a small show, but more elaborate than the storytelling in
Tinkerbell's toy shop in Fantasyland.
