Newsgroup Readers: Please circulate this Earthquake Advisory to any
earthquake forecasting and research, and disaster mitigation groups that you
know about. Thanks.
Recommendation - Earthquake forecasters and researchers around the world
should examine their data for local seismic activity precursors to see if
anything significant might be headed in their direction before June 13,
2011.
A number of what are believed to be earthquake fault zone activity
related electromagnetic energy pulses (EM Signals) were detected on June 8,
2011. And it is believed that they are most likely linked with the expected
seismic activity that caused other strong EM Signals to be detected on May
18, 2011.
A formal Earthquake Warning was circulated back on May 18. However,
so far it does not appear that the earthquake or earthquakes responsible for
the generation of those EM Signals have occurred.
Two specific locations are being watched. One is in central Asia
areas down to the Indian Ocean. The other location is believed to be a
fault zone that might be somehow associated with the Juan de Fuca tectonic
plate that runs along the northwestern part of the U.S.
Present theories propose that fault zones are not usually the
original source of the EM Signal energy. Instead the energy source for the
June 8 EM Signals might have been a strong solar storm that occurred on June
7, 2011. And the source for the May 18 signals might have been connected
with a volcano that erupted in Iceland a few days after May 18.
Additional information can be found in the June 10, 2011 entry on the
Internet Bulletin Board (bbs) that can be accessed through the address at
the top of this posting.

Curious request. You have claimed to be a disaster mitigation
professional yourself. If so, shouldn't you know the necessary
contacts already? or easily know how to find them? Why do you
need everyone else to do your work for you?

In a response note posted only to the sci.geo.earthquakes Internet
Newsgroup on May 11, 2011 I discussed the importance of the creation of an
international earthquake forecasting data clearinghouse where earthquake
researchers around the world could send their data for evaluation and
circulation.
In spite of what I feel would be that clearinghouse's potential
importance and likely reasonably low cost, no such international resource
exists as far as I am aware. And so, if important forecast data are going to
be circulated, all means that are available then need to be used including
Internet Newsgroups, Bulletin Boards and E-mail. I myself use all of them to
circulate data. And the only way that some people will likely become aware
of those data is through a Newsgroup notice or a copy of the notice that is
circulated.
This effort is not "my work." No one is getting paid to make this
effort. And I myself am not under any contract with anyone along those line.
It is a charitable humanitarian type of effort that it largely aimed at
saving lives. And if other people would like to help circulate information
in the hopes of saving some lives then that is their choice.
> MORE nonsensical garbage!
Agreed. He'd make an excellent politician. And considering how
gullible most Americans are, he'd probably get voted in as President!
No hanging chads required.
I (and others) have questioned him for years about his efforts,
and every time he obfuscates and squrims out of answering the
question.

Wow.... That was a quick. I thought you were too busy to scan for
replies and answer them?
Hi Brian. The reason Ed Glass wants other people to send his posts on
is that when they see an email from him they file 13 it as if it were
spam. They know who and what he is. He couldn't predict a quake if
he woke up in the middle of one. Take Care...Don

Hi Don. Good to hear from you.
That's certainly a logical reason.
BTW, in researching this person one boring day, I found a 10 year
old message by you posted on a web forum. Not going to quote it here
but lets just say it leads to some interesting questions.
But I do have one inquiry, perhaps you can answer. How sure are we
of the name? Because although my research fits that name with other
information gleaned from other sources, that could still be a part
of the con job.
If you'd like to contact me privately, email address is "skywise"
at the website linked below.

I think he makes between 1 to 5 cents from Groupon every time he gets
a hit on his links.
I could be wrong on that but my living near one questioned fault in
the Northwest
if the hits for cents from Groupon is right then I just made him a few
cents and
learned nothing.

No. That is not the case.
I have no arrangements for any funding for visits at any of my Web
sites. However, I do seem to remember reading that this is possible at the
Freewebz sites.
My Freewebz.com or Webs.com site is one of those free Web sites that
different companies offer. And I believe that they have their own policy
for having those advertisements appear when someone visits one of their free
Web pages.
I can't recall seeing those advertisements in the past on my Freewebz
Web pages. And I thought that it might be just a new version of my Web
browser that was causing the advertisements to appear when I myself check
the Web pages.
They are not at my other Web sites that I actually pay for. And not
too long ago I considered dropping the Freewebz site but decided that for
certain reasons it is actually worth keeping.

Hi Bob,
Wow! It has been a long time.
The forecasting technology I am now using is far more advanced.
During the past decade I developed some highly sophisticated computer
programs for determining probable location and times for earthquakes.
Several years ago a presentation was made in the People's Republic of China
regarding this technology. And quite a few other things have happened along
those lines.
After all these years I am finally in the process of starting to
contact various governments and very strongly recommend that they need to
get moving with their own forecasting programs. Among other things, the
various parts of our world are too dependent upon one another these days to
have unexpected earthquakes suddenly throw everything into chaos as that
devastating recent earthquake in Japan did for the nuclear power industry
and other industries.
Other than that not too much has changed. There are still two
degrees in the physical sciences.
I hope you are staying healthy and active.
Regards,
E.D.G.

What do you mean by "starting to"?!
You've been going on for years about how you're in contact with
various governments and scientists all over the world.
Ed, your sham story is starting to crack.

That bulletin board has now been updated with some information
regarding a possible earthquake in the northwest part of the U.S. And some
information has been added regarding a recent strongly felt earthquake in
Alaska and one in the Papua New Guinea area.
