I've also seen listing for a number of jobs you can do as a telecommuter, mainly in sales or marketing. Many of these actually require some travel, even if only to visit your neighbors.
Jobs in the career I used to follow before I became disabled almost always require working inside the company's building, in order to keep control of proprietary information, though.
Some areas have a program to help the disabled return to work if they want to. You might try searching through the telephone directory for your area to see if you can find such a program.
