My first trip to Guiding Eyes for the Blind was a few years ago. I came home from there with a wonderful Guide dog named Gifford. The level of independence he brought into my daily existence was beyond measure.
Then he became ill and needed to be medically retired. I am on my way to go visit him one last time, before I return to train with my new Guide Dog.
Dogs are so much more then just a replacement for this folding stick, they give you something to focus upon and a reason for getting out once in awhile.
I am looking forward to this.
As we head into the Holiday season, I hope you are doing well Brian.

Holiday season?
Oh well it is Guide Dog week here in the UK this week.

I do not have one myself, but that is just down to me. I feel I do not do
enough travelling to justify it.

The criminal, self-proclaimed sociopath and life-long societal parasite
James Stuart Hodges (aka 6StringStu) doesn't do any traveling either.

His first pet dog (Lee) wasn't a guide dog, and the guide dog that he
later conned from Guding Eyes For The Blind (Gifford) served only two
purposes. One was to serve as a bedroom companion. The other was to serve
as a prop, like the stupid-looking blind-man glasses that he doesn't need
either, in the pictures that he uses in his Internet scams to get
unsuspecting people to send him money.

James Stuart Hodges (aka SixStringStu) is a criminal, a pathological
liar, self-proclaimed sociopath a self-righteous Christian hypocrite and
a life-long societal parasite

In late 2012, in order to avoid a state-imposed lien, 6StringStu sold the
two-room shit hole that he owned in North Dakota and fled to Florida
where he married a very old, very fat, very used, dog-butt-ugly piece of
trailer trash that he had fucked while he was living in the slums of
Baltimore in the 1980s. The marriage was an obvious sham whose primary
purpose was to enable 6StringStu and his trailer-trash bride to combine
their monthly governmental handouts and still be able to live almost as
cheaply as one. The sham marriage also enabled 6StringStu to portray
himself as a seemingly-normal family man instead of the criminal and
sociopath that he actually is.

Unfortunately, 6StringStu didn't do his homework. SSD caught onto the
attempted scam, and the financial gain was less than than the two
parasites expected. Since 6StringStu had squandered the proceeds from
the sale of his shithole in North Dakoda, the two parasites had no
savings and were forced to live in a rented, government-subsidized
shithole in Florida.

At that point, 6StringStu went high tech and started begging for money on
three Internet panhadling websites.
www.YouCaring.com
www.Indiegogo.com
www.GoFundMe.com

The bull-shit sob story that he concocted was a masterpiece that would
bring tears to eyes of anyone who wasn't aware of his street-thug
mentality, his criminal history, his felony arrest record and his
sociopathic, hate-filled, foul-mouth posting record on the Usenet.

After about a month, 6StringStu closed his panhandling scam on
www.YouCaring.com, claiming "I have cancled this because of problems
associated with a UseNet Troll." That of course was a load of BS. The
real
reason why 6StringStu closed his panhadling scam on YouCaring.com is
because he wasn't able to stop comments from being posted which called
attention to his criminal background and to sociopathic behavior on the
UseNet.

6StringStu's panhandling scam on Indiegogo ran its three-month course and
ended with $0.00 in the way of contributions.
That's right,, ZERO.....ZIP.....NADA.....NOTHING,
So, who does 6StringStu blame for this outcome?

6STringStu's panhnadling scam on GoFundMe ran for nearly two years before
it was finally closed. The total amount that his scam on GoFundMe
received was $0.00. That's right,, ZERO.....ZIP.....NADA.....NOTHING.
So, Who does 6SstringStu blame for that?

Not surprisingly, this criminal and low-life piece of human waste didn't
receive a single penny from any of his Internet panhandling scams.
Apparently, no one was stupid enough to swallow his "poor-me" line of
bull shit and send him money. So, as one of his UseNet victims predicted
several years ago, it looks like James Stuart Hodges is going to be
living in a shit hole and be paying rent for the rest of his miserable
life.

If you were aware of this scumbag's street-thug mentality, his violent
criminal behavior, his felony arrest record and his socopathic posting
record to the UseNet, you wouldn't be swallowing his bull shit or sending
him money either.

James Stuart Hodges has long record of violent behavior and several
felony arrests. One of those arrests got him locked up in a loony bin.
Also, one of the women who he impregnated had her unborn child murdered
because she didn't want to spend the best years of her life raising the
illegitimate offspring of a criminal freak.

Polishing your halo won't fix your malfunctioning brain.

If blind folks don't care about the fakes who take guide dogs away from
those who have a legitimate need, why should anyone else care?

You're obviously not just visually blind, your're morally blind as well

Of course I might possibly not believe anything I read on the Internet, so
its all rather academic.
In case of some kind of brain in the head of yourself, at least in this
country, partially sighted people can also have Guide dogs, and blindness is
a very wide and varied subject indeed, so comparing one situation with
another could only be done if you had access to the image people see. That
is not yet possible unless you already have an HDMI socket on your head, a
condition which might explain a lot!
Now back to the Duraglit.

You can believe everything that you read on the Internet about James Stuart
Hodges because it's mostly self-proclaimed, documented fact.

Your premise that "comparing one situation with another could only be done
if you had access to the image people see" is false. It's one way, but
it's not the *only* way. For example, someone's behavioral history and the
content of their posts to the UseNet speaks volumes about their desire for
a pet dog vs their alleged need for a guide dog.

Just attempting to find the right combination of strings to stop the
monotonous wally from being seen. Anyone who can post the same stupid stuf
over and over has to be a slate short of a roof. Its not as if they have
anything new to say, and apart from the odd comment like this, even the
troll factor is deminished by the fact that its just boring in a kind of
manic way.
I'm going back to dormant mode now.

Repetition is the mother of all learning, and morally-challenged folks
like you obviously need plenty of repetition.

Sorry to hear that you are so far behind on current events. Here's a
link that will bring you up to date on what's new this year.

Obviously so boring that you felt compelled to reply to an article that
was posted here in October of 2015 by someone who hasn't posted anything
here since then.

Next time, wake up your dormant mind *before* you post.

I didn't get it. So, it must have have been a reminder memo that you wrote
to yourself.

Then you will continue to remain ignorant of current events because
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!overview is the only searchable archive
of UseNet posts that presently exists.

This assumes of course that people really want to search Usenet further back
than the archive on the server. Of course if you search on google anyway,
you can configure it to search newsgroups posts from way back. However that
is a completely different thing to using groups as discussion areas which
are easier to use than the web forums which seem to now have so many extra
bits that nobody wants, that the ac of browsing your favourites becomes ever
more onerous and one loses the will to live. I still have the will to live
and intend to keep it until

I am in no way a fan of Google Groups, but when it comes to searching for
and providing a reference to what someone has posted on the UseNet in the
past, it's the only game in town. It's no different than one politician
showing a video clip to illustrate his opponent's contradictions. And,
while many premium UseNet providers such as Giganews archive UseNet posts
as far back as 2003, there is no means available for someone to search the
archive.
