"Star of the Season" - a D-color, internally flawless, pear-shaped
100.10 carat diamond was sold at Sotheby's action for $16.5 million in
1995. It's the most expensive diamond ever sold at auction.
I'm just curious if after 15 years it's still the most expensive stone.
Can anyone confirm?
thanks,
Pete M.
OK. Now I've found it. I was also reading about diamond 4'C and now I
can see it in the article about clarity at iceiq . I'm also thinking
about buying a loose diamond first...
PS thanks for your email, by the way...
