Great allegation. He heard from someone on a smoke break. The
military, the ultimate keeper of all records, has annouced that
according to the perminent file kept by the military, that George W DID
in fact, meet all the requirements to fulfill his service obligations.
The Gov of any state is the Commander in Chief of that state's National
Guard, and in theory, would have the power to order changes made in
state held records. I have no way of knowing if Bush ordered changes in
state records, but it was the Federal records depository which checked
and said he fulfilled the obligations. If he were to stoop to such an
outrageous thing it would have been pretty stupid of him to order
changes in records when he could only change one of two exsisting public
records.
