Henbane thought for a moment, pondering her responses. Beside her, Art idly
ruffled her fur, his eyes scanning the latest weather reports. She knew few
people who were as fascinated by the weather channel as much as Art.
Nothing like a good hard drought in the grasslands country to make Lord
Famine smile cheerfully. He continued to watch the screen as Henbane typed
her reply. At one point, the Wyrmbunny giggled, a shrill little sound "Our
weapons are secrecy! And the rack!" she said for no apparent reason.

Thankyou for your prompt response, Commander Phong. As you will know,
security and safety are the Four's highest priority. While we can scent a
Devilbunny from a good distance, squirrels are another matter. Given the
Dunwich Fourier policy of not excluding any species or fur colour, there are
black squirrels amongst us. We've had to be extremely cautious about
examining backgrounds for signs of Devilbunny sympathy. <ruffle>

As you will understand, we find it hard to collect information on what the
Devilbunnies are up to - Fouriers are, ahem, easily recognisable.

As far as resources go, we are well supplied. We have a large team of
technical experts and a base of experienced military commanders - human and
lapine. In the past, certain allies have found it useful to train with
Wyrmbunnies acting as 'pretend' foes - we may not be Devilbunnies, but our
agility and claws can pass us off for learning purposes. The Four also run
a number of companies and commercial ventures that supply us with the funds
required for our <delicategrinch>...research. Our cache of weapons
is...considerable.

I am fascinated by the proposal - undoubtably Lord Death, our leading
scientist would be as well. I will send you the software through one of our
couriers, if you can tender me the address of a drop-off point that you
consider safe. The messenger is human, and reliable, if a little young for
your species at sixteen - his name is Farren. Devilbunnies spammed his
parents when he was twelve <shudder> and Fourier humans have raised him.
You should find him an amiable, if quiet lad.

Your hand in friendship shall not be rejected - the Four often feel as
though we are left alone to defend the values of Family and justice in a
cruel world. Do not think that this generous offer will go unrewarded. We
