Hello all!

Joyous news! I, (DANGER COW!!!), along with my Corps of Crusading Cattle,
has agreed to ally ourselves with the Fudds to defeat the Devilbunny
menace!!!

We learned of the bunnies through the Larcenous Legion of Livestock, a
criminal orginization that was apparently a front for the Devilbunnies.
But we will fight to the last hoof to defeat the horrible hares and bring
victory to the Fudds!

Have no fear, DANGER COW is here!!!

Danger Cow... Hmm... I can see this is going to be very effective
against the menace of the urban devilbunnies. Cows, being such small
and lithe creatures, will easily be able to pursue the evil rabbits
through the alleys and gardens of the city.

We are on the run, moving from house to house in the Toronto area. We
need a safe place to train this man, Steve Davidson. Some updated

little heavy to move, and it takes over 2 hours to

The government is threatening to cut me and a lot of other people off
welfare, just because we've been on it for over a year.

I believe a faction within the government, while seeming overtly
uncute, is actually controlled by the Bunnies. It is targeting anyone
who does not work a nine-to-five job, but is provided with money, such
as welfare or UI, to do other things. We will end up with employed
people working for the corporations and having no free time, plus
unemployed potential Fuddites with no spare money or food. All those
with the flexibility and resources to make effective urban Fudds are
being eliminated.

Is there a place relatively nearby we can go? I don't think my car

Hello Ed!

This is greatly appreciated! We are more-or-less operating out of my
car at the moment; your luggable will be much easier to use under
these conditions. Is your unit settable for 120V 60Hz North Anerican
AC power? Also, do you have a car kit for 12VDC power? If not, I can
improvise one.

A drop place: hmmm...

I know: the restaturant in the freeway service centre on the eastbound
laned of Highway 401 near Trenton, Ontario. It's about two hours east
of Toronto; more or less in neutral territory. I'm not sure that
Fudderal Express comes into Toronto that much.

How long will it take FuddEx to get it there? Let's set a date and
time for pickup.

Again, many thanks, Ed.

Not much I can help you with there. Similar problems and other factors
have torn out most of this base's funding, and we're still working on a
solution.

There are some decent AoF bases that aren't too far for you. My dad has
a small place just outside Kingston that might be a help to you, and
there's a group in Buffalo based out of the Naval museum there. I don't
know for sure any other locations in Canada or West New York. There's
also Pitt here, but that might be a bit far for you. (If you decide to
come down to the States, be careful. At last report, the buns were
holding the Niagra Falls area.) Good luck, Sir.

Greetings, Captain. Welcome back to the War.

Hmm. The situation in Canada is somewhat disorganized. Cmdr. John
Chaffey is the highest-ranking Fudd in the country, but his base -- ECanHQ
-- has been off the communications net for some time. He's also some
distance from you. He'd probably be better able to help you, although
ECanHQ isn't *that* close to Toronto.

I've enclosed with this tightbeam:

* Our most up-to-date list of Fudd intelligence contacts in the Toronto
area. It's pretty slim pickings, but you might be able to find someone
who can help you. I'll warn you, however -- after this much time, at
least a few of them are probably compromised. (If this happens, run
first and notify us, if possible, later.)

* A credit card number for emergency funds. I can guarantee that
it will be secure up to the first time you use it. After that, the
chances of a Mentat's net-hopping software tracking it down begin to
increase. At most, you have a week or so after the first use -- so
buy fast, and save it until you really need it.

[...]

> I believe a faction within the government, while seeming overtly
> uncute, is actually controlled by the Bunnies.

This is interesting. If you can trace their controls, it could tell us
more about Canadian Bunny organization. I don't have access to much of
Chaffey's information. The ones in his area seemed to focus more on
direct conflict and less on infiltration. Perhaps we're dealing with a
split in their ranks?

I'll warn you, though -- in dealing with their American cousins, we've
found that the fluffers prefer to play both sides of the fence. Often
they use political conflict to identify possible weaknesses in human
society -- and then do their best to subvert both sides.

If you have to run for it -- in the Northeast U.S., Maine, Massachussetts,
and Pittsburgh all have Fudd bases. Unfortunately, none of those areas is
particularly bunny-free, despite our best efforts. I know that distance
on the road with bunny pursuit is going to be rough, but it's the best I
can do. I hope you don't have to try it.

Good luck, Captain, and may Elmer be with you.

'Broke in' or 'Broken'? Just what I'd expect from a species whose

By the way, W.O.O.F. stands for 'Way Out of Order due to Fudds'.

P.S: That's *duct* tape, not gaffer's tape. We only use gaffer's tape
