In the year 1982, there are no warrens, no burrows... the Down is an
empty farmland. In eight roofed buildings scattered across the farm,
vicious _human_ invaders grind out the agricultural resources of the
meadow whose population they utterly destroyed a decade ago. The
scant few remnants of lapinity hide in holes and remote areas, an
endangered species on the brink of extinction.

Apathy and superstition have suppressed all hope when one rabbit,
Hazel Bigwig Hrairah, dares to leave his tunnel in search of a better
life. Against all odds he marshals the last survivors to join him
in a desperate attempt to drive the evil humans from the Down before
rabbitkind is lost forever.

_Bunnyfield Earth_, by L. Ron. Adams. You'll be amazed.

Oh, hell no. Don't be fooled, people. _Bunnyfield Earth_ is a
gateway book to a cult of rabbit-worshippers, who believe that all Fudds
should be chained up in DC-10s and flown into active volcanoes.

Do yourself a favor and search the internet for 'Operation Harebake',
where all the rabbits' lies are exposed. Don't lose your soul (and your
toes) to this fluffy menace.
