I have added three new watercolours to the art page -- please feel free to
take a look and send your comments. Today was such a dreary, dark, humid
day -- I felt like adding a little colour and fun.

it was a B E A U T I F U L Southern California summer's day here today.
80ş, Clear, mild breeze. I was with my son at the beach ALL day. At 630
pm he still didn't want to leave; he was sound asleep in the car the
minute we were on the way home. Great father's day present for me.
I like all 3, Daybreak is my fave. Firewater is very Rothco (with bright
colors). Oklahoma Summer seems ominous. Nice work

I had so much fun -- if it's crappy outside tomorrow, I'm going to spend the
day painting. Mitch and Myles are doing father/son stuff tomorrow --
although I don't know how much you can do with an infant..... ;-)

Gee wiz, I didn't know you have an infant. When did you find time to conceive?
During boot up?
Keep up the good work!

Fantastic, Carol. Like looking over someone's navy blue shoulder at the
horizon. :)
What's the actual size of this piece?

I'd like to have your signature on the painting, Carol...I don't mind
showing what I like to other people...
How big is "Heartstroke"? This one should be at my client's back...so I can
see it all the time while I do business...I don't know how or why, but when
I see this painting I start to think positively...where can I get a darn
office for myself in Milano?
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, for some unknown reason to me your
paintings have struck my visual nerve...:-) The one I like the best is
"Ten". I use this image to stay concentrated if I need to do some analytical
job, like going on the Quest to find the "Holy Chord Change" (I'm a
musician, remember?).
To daydream, I like "Twelve". It just set my mind in motion "to go where no
mind has gone before" LOL!
Daydream would look great at my back, taking off the attention on me, so I
can pick his brain for ideas in how I could do business with him/her...
Are you hating my guts now...?

I think I might have some of the paintings done as Giclee prints...I just
have to decide which ones -- it's not a cheap process, and I don't want to
do the worst ones. (I always seem to like what others don't -- isn't that
wierd??)
Again, I'm so very glad you like my work, and I'm going to save your post
for the days I feel like I totally suck. ;-)

Go ahead...buy big paper! Put your colors all over it. Sometimes I crop mine
down to something I like.

True. On canvas you can cover up stuff and call it 'texture' lol. But with
watercolor you can mix media to mask errors. I've used pen and ink over
watercolor and objects such as wire or more paper to block mistakes.
On the giclee note: I noticed at Sam's Club [possibly some other warehouse type
stores] they have a wide format printer to print/enlarge snapshots/files on
canvas. You could try an enlargement for not a lot of money, I think, just to
see how it might come out.
