It's pretty good I think, a bit long, but a fun read...and better than
most of the flaem Bob critiques and discussions that have gone on.
It's too bad Special ED is barely treading water again (begging for
over $3,000 in donations), otherwise I could have linked to his
article with more specifics on his kooky meltdown.
Speaking of ED though I seriously think that's just piss in the
wind...either that or they're getting royally fucked up their ass by
their hosting provider...or they don't know how to setup their shit
properly.
I don't understand why all these tweenage muppet fuck run Webbie
constructs can't figure it the hell out that you can have more than
ONE hosting provider and if you break all your shit up across multiple
domains then you save enough processing power and bandwidth that
you're able to keep your shit up at freebie prices (around $6 bucks
per host).
Do you suppose it's just lack of technical knowledge? I guess most of
them are using cookie cutter crap, like Wikis and UBB boards, so they
may not really have any understanding at all as to how any of it even
works.
The funniest instance was when the retard admins over on Fur Affinity
actually attempted to ARGUE with me over it, claiming that their
method of shelling out over a thousand bucks a month for an image
hosting site was the *ONLY* way it could be done and that it was
~completely~ impossible to do it across multiple hosts.
You do have to wonder though if they really ~do~ know and are just
feigning stupidity to get lots of free money via donations.
