Nick Cave's morbidly evocative music plunges us into a world of love,
sex, betrayal, violence, and devotion. His darkly beautiful melodramas
unfold across an imagined landscape of dilapidated southern mill towns,
gothic British gardens, drunken taverns, dingy brothels, old wooden
churches, as well as the many backwater forests, rivers and prairies
where illicit love and passionate murder are best undertaken.
A map of Nick Cave's poetic domain has just been created for the first
time, produced by the internationally known concert poster artist EMEK,
and populated with details from the lyrical mind of Mr. Cave himself.
But this is more than just a cool work of art. Most of the features on
the map are enigmatic - having been kept nameless - presenting a series
of riddles to those who want to uncover the map's full meaning.
As a reward for those fans who seek to explore the map, special limited
edition prizes will be a given the first fans able to accurately name
all the Cave-ological places, events and characters therein. The clues
to solving these riddles can only be found deep within the lyrics of
Nick Cave's music, so Cave fanatics have the advantage. However, a
clever bit of research can help anyone
