Really great, Tony. The ability to render that realistically is a skill I
wish I had. I hope you are having fun with it.

Ah, found it. VERY nice. Thanks for the progression; I know it's hard to
stop and snap a pic when you're on a roll. I suspect your clients will be
delighted with the portrait and more will be coming your way.

This made me think of those joke progressions on "How to Draw a Bunny." Step
one is a soft pencil oval, step two adds a couple of circles to the oval,
step three sort of outlines the ears, then step four is a beautifully
rendered forest creature. Anyone can do it!

Thanks Gem! I always love to look at the progressions of a painting.... I
seem to learn allot that way. One of the tricks I try to use when doing the
pics is to leave my camera on... it automatically turns off after 10 minutes
of sitting idle, and I use the funky sound as a cue to take another pic.
It's a pain in the bum cause, as Dan said, it sure does breaks your
stride... but hey, until I can afford to hire a houseboy/photographer I
guess I'll just have to do it this way. hmmmm the second page didn't load??/
I wonder why? Did you break the internet again?

Oh yea I received your email :-) Thanks.

Awwww... Thanks Leanne. When they came to pick it up last night they were
absolutely delighted with it. It was almost embarrassing the way the woman
was going on about it.... It felt great though. The important thing is that
the parents like it. Some folks are funny when it comes to their own image.
<fingers crossed>
Thanks for your warm compliment. :-)

Tony,

Wonderful work. I loved seeing your progression. My pastels are stored away
and seeing your work makes me want to get them out...see how rusty I am
now...

As always Tony, very nice. Sketchy at the start and almost photographic at
the finish. Beautiful work.

Drew,

Nice you remembered me...I took this photo of my granddaughter the other day
with my digital...was checking out a new add on lens and this was total
luck. I did crop it a bit but nothing else.
