Okay.....last evening my 5 boxes arrived for G2H. Probably won't hear
from an installer till Tuesday since we are in a long weekend here.
My cable company has been promising one way intenet access for over a
year now. Keep saying it will be ready the 1st of the month. Have
said that for 12 months now. Time to dump them.

Now, to my question. We have 4 TV's in the house. What do you have
to do to be able to watch different programing on different TV sets
when you have the Dishnetwork? Does everybody have to watch the same
thing at the same time? What is the best package from Dishnetwork?
What do most people get. Thanks.

No, of course not. But you will need a seperate receiver
for each TV set that will be in simultaneous use watching
different channels.

If you need more than two receivers, you will need to
replace the two SW21s that come with the G2H Dish with
either a SW64 or the upcoming SW44.

In addition, there's a $5.00/per month charge for each
additional receiver after the first, but they all get the
same programming.

Well, if you're talking about programming, that would be
the new "Everything" package.

If you're talking about equipment, that would be the new
6000, 4900, or the Dishplayer

Most folks get the AT100 package, and the most subscribed
premium channel is HBO, but that might change now that
Starz is in Dolby Digital.

Most folks probably have low end receivers like the 2700,
3700, or 3800. There are a lot of folks out there with
older Dish equipment too.

I would suggest a 7222 ($199) and 3 7200 ($149ea.). Unless you need
international channels or want HDTV then get the SW64 ($149) and the
appropriate mix of 6000's ($449) and 7200's. Make sure that you buy at least
one of them with a dish to point at 61.5.
