I have an hd reciever (H20) running a Polaroid 32" LCD model FLM3232. Hey
it was an open box special so I bought it for the bedroom...and we love it.

Once I went thru hours of searching for the correct tv control code for the
URC2081BG 4-0 and got it to turn the set on and off as well as power. Well
someone stole the batteries out of the remote and i now face hours of
stepping through each code again unless someone knows the numeric one to
enter. I did try the DTV website and found several listed. Many would not
program into this remote (no double blip of the led after entering it) and
those that did program in did not control the set.

Hopes are someone here has the magic number or I am doomed to fix it the
long hard way. BTW the scoundrel that stole the batteries for his MP3
player has returned to college so I have not settled up with him on that
yet. Really just want his mamma to stop pestering me to fix it. I want
what any guy wants...peace in my palace/shanty.

Thanks in advance

Sorry I don't have the code, but next time there should be some way to
READ the code that control is set to. Then you can write it down and
never have to search again.

Well.. You did follow the last step in the code search right... WRITE
DOWN THE CODE.

Your remote may have still recall the code

After many moves (military), and many different brands of A/V equipment, I
started writing the codes on the back (or somewhere inconspicuous) and/or in
the manual. Whenever I moved, it was easy to look in the manual or on the
case to find the code(s).

When you find it again, write it on the TV case somewhere (Use a permanent
marker).

10178 is the one. I went to their site and went thru about 30 before I
found it though. Thanks for the reply.

No put it on a label under the battery door.

Preferably inside the battery compartment, so it won't get rubbed off
too easily. Put it outside and it's likely to not be there when you
need it.
