OPSEC

A hilarious eleven minute must see starring Colonel Corruptovich and Comrade General
Clownshoes! LOL!
The Russians have no concept of OPSEC (Operational Security). While there have been many
generals graduating from the finest military academies, most of Russia's current crop
apparently graduated from clown college. Every time a Russkie in the field uses a
cellphone to call home, he gives away his location via metadata. Early in the war,
clusters of cell transmissions allowed UA to track troop movements and take out troop
concentrations.
One Russian reporter broadcast home a report and within minutes Ukraine had bombed his
location with HIMARS. Another Russian propagandist visited a Wagner barracks proudly took
pictures of himself with the Wagner commanders. One of those pictures contained the sign
on the building showing it's exact address. I'll give you three guesses what happened
and the first two don't count!
Years ago Russia realized the US had broken their encryption. They spent millions
building a new, highly secure system that would work from anywhere on the planet with cell
service. Unfortunately that meant it didn't work in Ukraine since Russia had targeted the
cell network early on in order to disrupt partisan coordination. The upshot was the FSB
had to use land lines which were not encrypted and allowed allied sigintel systems to pick
them up immediately which let the UA know what FSB agents were reporting back to Moscow.
Most Russian military communications are occurring over open, unencrypted comms, in many
cases using walktie talkies or hand radios because Colonol Corruptovich sold off the
encrypted sets back at the supply depot.
One of the many vehicles the Russians left behind in Ukraine was a state of the art
electronic warfare truck. Naturally it was sent immediately to the US for analysis which
provided important info on how to defeat Russian EW strategy and tactics.
The Chechens, fearsome fighters for sure, were sending huge numbers of reports home
proudly displaying their equipment, what they'd been doing and where. They don't send as
many now because they're mostly dead, but one Chechen commander couldn't wait to get to
the rear recently, so he could live stream about the latest victory against the UA. The
Ukrainians objected to his claim they'd been defeated and politely protested with a
precision guided artillery shell to his location which permanently inturrupted his live
stream.
The Russians have been caught by surprise not only by the accuracy of these strikes, but
by how quickly the information reaches the UA front lines from NATO listening posts is
Poland and over the Black Sea. Reporter Alexander Kotz did a detailed report from the
front displaying he latest Russian mortar carrier truck. Within minutes of the end of his
report, the truck was twisted, burning metal. Kots denies his report had anything to do
with the targeting.
Russian tourists have been helpful as well. One such tourist visiting Crimea, posed for a
cool picture of himself near a Russian S400 launcher. Using the transmission metadata,
well, I'm sure you can figure out what happened.
Lol!

"Russia has lost. They've lost strategitally, operationally and tactically and they are
paying an enormous price on the battlefield. But until Putin ends his war of choice the
international community will continue to support Ukraine with the equipment and
capabilities it needs to defend itself. Through this group, we are collectively
supporting Ukraine's ability to defend its territory, protect its citizens and liberate
their occupied areas." - Joint Chiefs Chairman, Gen. Mark Milley
