Just discovered my favorite band from back in the day, the Atlanta
Rhythm Section is performing a benefit for Ukraine in Harrisburg.
"Hear Some Boogie Smoogie & Ease Some Pain in Ukraine.
"Southcentral Pennsylvania, come on out January 28th and help ARS
support a great cause. Our show in Harrisburg will be benefiting the
American Ukrainian Relief Association. It’s impossible for most of us
here in the USA to imagine the hardships that the people in Ukraine
have been experiencing. Not too many concerts going on over there
right now, that’s for sure. Keep the good folks of Ukraine in your
thoughts and prayers then come to the Scottish Rite Theatre in
Harrisburg and rock out with us knowing that you’ll also be helping
out people that really need some help.
"American Ukrainian Relief Association is a non-profit organization
with roots directly connecting them to the people of Ukraine and their
needs. All of us have been affected by the global supply chain issues.
Well, combine that with the struggle of living in a war zone and you
begin to feel the profound needs of the Ukrainian people. It is often
the simplest things that make our day feel normal and help us feel
human. Simple things that are so easily and so often taken for granted
in America. If you can’t make it to our show please show your support
however you can. Thanks.
"Soloway Band will begin the evening’s music with an authentic
Ukrainian feel. This six-piece band from Philadelphia brings some
serious chops and musicianship along with their eastern European vibe.
We are really looking forward to hearing them play. Hope to see you
there and we really hope that the terrible conflict in Ukraine is
quickly resolved.
