I have received the following email from someone who wishes
to remain anonymous:
"I have authoritative information, from a source who knew Mr Walker
personally, that he was indeed depressed, and committed suicide.
He had a terminal illness, and had been advised by his doctors
that he had about six months to live, six months of pain and
agony which most probably would not be relieved by morphine, in
the strongest possible doses. I can't say more than this, and I
can't reveal my source."
Does anyone have independent confirmation of this?

While I can't imagine any reasonable way to dispute what the source says,
I see an easier way out, than "splatting" ones self on some immovable
object or slab of concrete--why not an overdose of morphine, since he had
access?
Could be coincidence, can't argue that--but with a record of so many
"suicides", I find this a suspicious death, unless a credible individual
watched the deed.

If he had only six months to live, then why was he looking for a "new
apartment". If I only had six months to live, then looking for a new
apartment would be at the bottom of my priority list.

Translation: I can't think of any reason why anyone should believe

I disagree, BT. In the case of any poist of John's, I don't think he
would have posted it unless he gave some credibility to it. That does not
mean that he absolutely believes it, but he thinks it is possible. If he
didn't believe it, I do not believe he would have posted it. In my opinion
he received the information froma source that he has a good bit of trust
in. However I also believe that John does not absolutely believe it
either.

What bothers me is why this source would wish to remain anonymous,
if indeed the story of the illness is true?
