Clinton and cronies suspected in murder

By Dean Wayne

Two women who were connected to Bill Clinton and his cronies died under mysterious
circumstances. At least one was undoubtedly murdered.

The women were Gail Vaught and Kathy Ferguson. Both women were the party toys of Bill
Clinton, his wife, and his friends. Both women were also involved in
drug usage with the Clintons and their intimates.

On Oct. 24, 1980, a Washington County, Arkansas, investigator named Taylor developed
evidence from a confidential informant that county resident Gail Vaught
had been killed after a man named Ray Foreman had “run over” her.

Vaught was a “party girl” who shared the drug/party scene with Clinton and his
intimates. After having been present when a drug deal was made where Clinton
intimates Don Tyson, Harold Jones, Ronnie Teague and Alex Montez were also present,
Vaught was killed.

“They [the informants] related that...Gail Vaught was unconscious when she was
killed...Ray Foreman had confessed to [Washington Co.] Sheriff [Herbert]
Marshall that he had run over Gail, but that it was an accident, for they were both
high on ‘acid.’ ” The ‘acid’ is the hallucinogenic drug, lysergic acid
diethylamide-25.

Ray Foreman subsequently failed three polygraph “lie detector” tests concerning the
death of Vaught.

The report was submitted to Arkansas’ Criminal Investigation Division’s Intelligence
Unit on Oct. 29 by Taylor, a lieutenant named Evans and a sergeant named
Stephens. These individuals were not further identified in the documents.

There is not much data available on Vaught’s death. The May 11, 1994 death of Sherwood,
Ark., resident Kathy Ferguson is more subject to analysis.

The 38-year-old Ferguson was found dead in their apartment at 12:40 a.m. by her
boyfriend, Bill Shelton, a Sherwood police officer. She was the ex-wife of
Arkansas state trooper, and Bill Clinton lackey, Danny Ferguson--best known as the
state trooper who procured Bill Clinton girls.

Kathy Ferguson--who was dextral (that means “right-handed”) was found dead with a
suicide note--“A farewell note, ostensibly in the decedent’s own
handwriting”--beside her and a .380-caliber semiautomatic pistol manufactured by
Arcadia [Calif.] Machine Tool, owned by Shelton, lying on the floor by her left
hand.

The suicide note indicated problems in her relationship with boyfriend Bill Shelton,
apparently arising over her relationship with another man. Another note accusing
her of having such a relationship, written by Shelton to her, was found in the same
notebook. A .380 shell casing was found in an ashtray at the end of the couch
and a lead bullet was removed from the ceiling, 12 ft. from the victim. It had lodged
to the front and the left of the deceased.

It was a lead revolver bullet, 0.38” caliber. Lead bullets cannot be loaded into
automatic pistol shells; if the cartridge is “straight-tapered”--as the .380 or
9-millimeter short cartridge is--they refuse to feed, and jam on the ejection-reloading
cycle of the slide mechanism when the lead bullet of a loaded cartridge catches
the lip of the barrel at the bottom.

What else raises suspicion of murder?

Sherry Butler, a Pulaski and Faulkner Counties resident, made an affidavit Dec. 7, 1994
to the effect that Ferguson, a friend of hers, had told her: “Shortly before
her death, Kathy Ferguson stated that what Paula Corbin-Jones was saying about Bill
Clinton was the truth, and quote, ‘I wouldn’t put anything past Bill Clinton.’ ”

According to Butler’s account, Ferguson said “that while attending functions at the
Governor’s Mansion, then-Governor Bill Clinton had cornered her in the kitchen
of the mansion and [pinned her to the counter” in a rape attempt.

Before the same notary, Dr. Samuel Thomas Henson stated that “the day before she was
shot, that [Ferguson] ‘wished she did not know as much as she knew
concerning the Arkansas State Troopers and their activities, and those of [her
ex-husband] Danny Ferguson.’ She also told me she had been ‘trapped’ by
then-Gov. Bill Clinton in the governor’s mansion at a party with [where he had made]
sexual advances.”

And what of the head wounds?

According to the coroner’s four-page report, which is dated May 19, 1994, and signed by
Drs. William Q. Sturner, the chief medical examiner, and associate
medical examiners Frank J. Peretti and Charles P. Kokes: “There is a gunshot wound of
the right temple...There is an exit wound of the left temple..Examination of
the body revealed a contact gunshot wound of the right temple with an exit wound in the
left temple.” And, “No powder residue was present in the hands, which
were bagged prior to examination.”

But Henson stated that he had “been contacted by six witnesses who described the head
wounds of Kathy Ferguson [they saw] at the open-casket funeral, and
[they] described a ‘quarter-sized hole’ with cotton balls [placed there by the
mortician during laying-out]. A large blown-out wound” was described “to the right
temple, pulling the right eye over. None of the witnesses saw any wounds to the area of
her left temple on careful examination of her head.”

Sherry Butler’s deposition stated that: “I viewed Kathy Ferguson’s body at Henson
Funeral Home on May 12, 1994. I observed what appeared to be a massive
injury on the right side of her head. I observed the left temple area, which appeared
normal; no evidence of injury as far as I saw.”

These statements contradict the official autopsy report’s descriptions of the wounds
Ferguson purportedly inflicted on herself. Undoubtedly, the undertaker who
plugged the holes for open-casket display (common practice) would have noted the
discrepancies.

The official documents and these affidavits are reproduced in Larry Nichols’ book,
Nichols Vs. Clinton: The Final Chapter; Plaintiff's Exhibit Book.

Several conclusions can be drawn from the circumstances surrounding Ferguson’s fatal
injuries:

She was shot with a revolver.
The bullet which was recovered from the wall was not fired from the semiautomatic
pistol. In all likelihood, given the description of the wound, the bullet
which killed her never exited her head.
She was shot while standing, by someone sitting facing her.
The lack of powder residue on her hands indicated that she could not have fired
the pistol (or any other firearm) recently without having had gloves on. Yet
no gloves or mittens were recovered from the scene.
Whose handwriting the purported ‘suicide note’ was in was never verified; the note
was never examined.
Two weeks after her death, Bill Shelton’s body was found on Kathy Ferguson’s
grave. Another coroner’s inquest produced another verdict of ‘suicide’.
Nor were these the only suspicious ‘suicides.’ While the suspicious circumstances
surrounding the death of Vince Foster has been mentioned even by the
‘mainstream’ media, little attention has been paid to the other ‘suicides’ of
persons associated with Bill Clinton or his cronies.

This is a falshood. I've loaded and fired thousands of lead bullets in 9mm and
45ACP ammo over the past 10 years. Functioning is perfect.

I can't recall seeing any commonly available commercial lead rounds
for semiautos, but it's not one of my areas of expertise.
The chances that Kathy Ferguson was a reloader aren't too great,
I'll wager. If I'm right, and if the slug that was reported found is
really the slug that passed through her skull, then the possibility
that the perp used reloaded ammo would constitute a major clue.
All in all, I'd have rather read something about the brass....
