Just one of the Guys
any others? (and besides yentyl, were there any other that DIDNT play the
concept for laughs?)

I think Victor/Victoria was 80's - "a woman pretending to be a man, pretending to be a woman".

I just saw "Nobody's Perfect", which IMDB has as released in '89, on
Showtime a few weeks ago. It's bad, so bad, I had to watch the whole damn
thing.

It's an unthinkable concept where a tennis scholarship guy falls madly for a
tennis scholarship chick, and she's already spoken for, so he and his buds
hatch a plan where guy can be a lot closer to chick by dressing as a chick.
What were they thinking?!?!??!?

Sure, it gets guy closer to chick and chick's fella doesn't kick guy's ass,
but then what? You can't say "hey you're hot" or "how bout dinner and a
movie" cause chick doesn't have a clue that he's a guy.

Of course, they did such a bad job making guy up into a chick that chick
couldn't possibly think it's another chick.

But I guess that's movie magic.

I digress.
