The custom CD is really pretty cool. The song choices are mostly
outtakes from the seminal "Into Battle" sessions (Beat Box, Close to the
Edit, etc.). Pretty groundbreaking for its day!

definitely - just too bad I've got to buy the dull new stuff in order to
get the 'right' to buy the decent old stuff

but hey, that's marketing.

Yeah, but do they still sound good?

'Seduction' is far from dull, it's one of the best albums I've bought
recently. It's not at all like most of the old stuff (which I've just
ordered on cd to compliment my aged vinyl copies). But it's getting the most
play time either at home or at work.

here's a thing -

I order the new CD from Tower. Ship in three days, they say. I get my
code for ordering the custom CD from the US. Ship in three weeks, they
say.

Custom CD arrives in three days from the US, still waiting for Tower
which is just down the road.
