hi folks! i have been reading the messages from this newsgroup for awhile
now and have posted a few times, but i never have really introduced myself!
so here goes: i am 24 years old (born in 1975), and although my memories of
the 70s are VERY CLOUDY (i really only remember 1979 vividly). career-wise i
am a children's librarian. when i was about 10 i started liking 70s music as
a total joke, at that point in time, nothing was more UNCOOL that 70s music!
but like a lot of things with me, i was eventually in love with the very
thing i was making fun of, and i haven't looked back since! musically i am
in a total timewarp, basically, i have a great big collection of records and
8-tracks, and my favourite aspect of 70s music is the one hit wonders!!! if
anyone ever wants to talk 70s music with me, by all means!!! i'd love to get
to know you guys better!!! take care!
