It just went off & talk about a shocker!!! But I have a question. Remember
at the beginning when they were sitting around gettin' high & talking about
Eric getting ice cream with his mommy & seeing Donna drunk like Sue Ellen?
What was the name of the song that was playing in the background?? Had
lyrics of "I'm in love with a beautiful woman". Sorta sounded like 3 Dog
Night. I have heard it before but it has been 20+ years since I last have.
Now I can't stop singing that one line from it.

Anyway really enjoyed the show tonite. The best part was when Kitty called
Eric a dumbass.

Well, short term memory is failing me - I can't for the life of me remember
what song was playing in the background.

I guess as far as That '70s goes, the ending was a shocker - no shocker that
Fox showed a rerun "bonus" episode immediately after.

I figured out why networks will only repeat recent shows before a sitcom or
drama goes into syndication - it's because if you saw a show from the first
season, you'd remember why you started watching it in the first place, and
you'd realize how bad it was now.

Oh man, it was great - not really, but Kelso & Jackie decide to get married
(actually, Jackie decides), Casey dumps Donna after she skips school to get
drunk with him, but instead of running back to Foreman (what he naively
expects), she disappears. Fez & Kelso steal some dead fish and decide to do
play a joke on someone with them - Kelso's hubcap falls off the VW Bus, and it
glows with inspiration. They put the fish inside the hubcap and put it back
on.

Mr. Pinciati (however the hell it is spelt) and his woman ground Donna, but she
just says "No." Eric goes "Wow, you can do that?" Red looks at him and tells
him "No" - probably called him a dumbass too, but I can't remember.

Then, Donna tells Kelso she's going to California to live with her mother and
Kelso decides to run away too to get out of having to marry Jackie. The van
stinks, but Kelso says it's just because Wisconsin stinks. You then see Kelso
proclaiming "Damn! Iowa smells like dead fish too!", while Donna laments to
herself that she should have taken the bus.

Meanwhile Eric is waiting in Donna's bedroom for her to come home and Mr.
Pinciati tells him not to play with her underwear.

I thought the season premiere was much funnier.

Well, you got most of it correct except for this part. She *did* go to Eric
and told him that they should be together. But Eric tells her he doesn't
want it that way...he doesn't want to be a "rebound". Later, after Red and
Kitty tell him what a dumbass he is being, he goes over to Donna's house and
waits for her in her bedroom. By this time, she's already left town with
Kelso.

Now that you mention it, you're absolutely right. I forgot that part, but I
think I was doing good to remember as much as I did. Does anyone actually watch
that show without smoking something beforehand?

Wish I could, but my son's usually not in bed yet :-P Definitely have
a smoke when I watch it on tape, though, does that count?
