ok.. now this is going back... I was about 7 when I began reading Tiger
Beat.. { had to get all I could on THE MAN Donny Osmond LOL ). Anyway, they
always showed pictures and articles on these two blond twin brothers.. they
must have been around 15 or 16 at the time. I don't know whether they sang, or
acted.. or what they did... just that they were cute and had many girls
fawning over them. I was hoping on VH1 if they sang anyway, they would be
featured on a where are they now segment, but I have yet to see them. Can
anyone help me out? Thanks :) xoxoxo ~ Hunny ~

Oh, my God!! I was a David Cassidy girl (and if you remember, you could be
either a Donny fan OR a David fan - NOT BOTH!!), so I used to get all those
magazines, too. I seem to remember that the first name of one of them was
Gunnar, but I could be wrong. I do remember, even then, being really cynical
about the 'zine editors pushing those guys at us all the time, when no one
knew who the hell they were!!

Your thinking of Nelson (Rickys boys).

One of them is named Gunnar, don't know the other ones name.

They had a hit with (Can't Live Without Your) Love & Affection in the
late 80's early 90's.

Hmm...I'm thinking Andy & David Williams. They premiered on the Partridge
Family, sang, blablabla. The next 'teen sensation'. Don't think they went
as far as was hoped.

Are you thinking about the Nelsons?
The only other twins I can think of are the Hagger twins from Hee Haw.

I remember the Keane Brothers, but they weren't twins. I think one was around
12 and the other was around 16 in their heyday. Didn't they have a summer
replacement variety series circa 1977?

The twins were the sons of Rick Nelson. Gunner and his brother, who's name I
do not know.

Maybe the Williams twins? ANdy Williams had twin sons, kind of the 70s
versions of the Nelsons. And their music was about as exciting. I remember
them being on the Partridge family once.

Your're talking about the Williams brothers. Andy Williams was their
uncle, not their dad. By the way, they were popular around the time that
Andy was married to Claudine Longet( Haven't heard that name in
years!!!!!!!!!!!).

What a relief someone knows! I didn't know the Keane Brothers weren't
twins. And the NELSONS? We're talking late 80's....early 90's? Definitely
not even close to the 70's.

I remember them! They had a few songs out and recorded a couple albums...
but any of the singles escape me at this time. :) I know there was one
hit.

Oh my! That Saturday Nighty Live parody they did of the Claudine Longet
ski tournament. A skier goes past the gates--- "BANG"! You see the skier
falling down the mountain. Claudine Longet accidentally shot whoever. What
a hoot!

I think it was the Keane Brothers. I remember seeing them in a lot of fan mags
and an article in a magazine called "dynamite". i didn't know if they actually
did anything, though.

Just to add my two cents worth, the above info is completely correct. and the
did indeed appear on the Partridge Family and had crushes on Laurie and wanted
her to choose. They took her to the Taco stand and asked her to choose!! If I
could remember all the stuff I am suppose to do on a day to day basis as well
as I remember TV/music trivia, I would the most organized and efficient person
in the world!! BTW, Claudine shot Spider Savitch. I may have spelled his last
name wrong,

You can see these twins grown up in the movie "Grace of My Heart"
(1996). At least I think these are the brothers that you are refering
to.
They even perform a song in the movie.

They were the Andy and David Williams. Their Uncle was the famous Andy

to look up more info for you if you like.
