I just watched it again on ABC. I don't know why but it always makes me
feel good. Guess I've been watching it all of my life.

If you've ever wondered about the skeletal structures of Peanuts characters
have, you'll be happy to see this link:

I wanted to see it last night but we had our officer elections for the Union
yesterday & I had to man the polls & officiate the counting of the ballots.
Didn't get home until around 8 pm or so last night. How did Snoopy do in the
Christmas decorations contest??
Billy
He won again. Yes!
Sheer perfection! Though it wouldn't have been nearly as successful if it
hadn't been for the terrific Vince Guaraldi soundtrack! Everyone loves it.
The sad part, though, is that if it were a brand-new animated special today,
the networks would be so PC-minded that they'd never air it.
I'm a lifelong "Peanuts" fan, and still have most of my paperback book
collections. But the pinnacle of the whole thing hit me this past January
when I visited the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, California. It's
about an hour's drive north of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a fantastic
place!!!!!! Too bad I never got to meet Sparky, but at least I got to draw
some cartoons in the guest book. So did my friends accompanying me.
[There's even a kite-eating tree in the courtyard!!!]

Man, I had those little books for years. Read them over and over again. I
wonder if they're still in my parents' house...

Sounds like a place that would be fun to visit some day. What sorts of things
do they have there besides the tree?
Welcome to the group, Matt!

If you haven't already seen them, Fantagraphics has begun an ambitious
project to reprint every Peanuts strip chronologically in 25 hardcover
volumes. The first two volumes covering 1950-54 were just published this
year and are available both separately and in a box set:
> Matt J. McCullar
> Arlington, TX

Ahhh good!! Does my heart good to know that Joe Cool has the Christmas
spirit. Hehehehe.
