For the record, it's best to ignore BajaRat, a certified
net.kook.... in fact, ignoring anything crossposted in
alt.california is a good idea, too. (I thought I had killfiled

....Police have no hard leads on [Ms.] Mann's attack [a Salem resident
who was out walking her dog when she was shot by vatos], which was
followed 10 minutes later by another random drive-by that critically
wounded a bicyclist less than a mile from state buildings. And the
community is tensely awaiting retaliation for a shooting that claimed
the lives of Juan Pablo Torres-Perez and Fidencio Garcia Ceja, two
teenagers with gang affiliations who were gunned down Oct. 11 in a
northeast neighborhood. Three teens, all with suspected gang ties,
have been arrested in that case.

Gang violence is one of the prices you pay for prohibition. Another is

the increase in theft and property crimes. The gangs are just settling a
few business relationships in a business where there is no legal
recourse. When you can't sue somebody, violence is your only option.

Personally, I think it's poetic justice. Salem has been a law 'n order
community for decades. They're getting just what they voted for.

You don't think people are getting exactly what they voted for? All laws
have unintended consequences. Prohibition leads to gang turf wars and
street violence. You can't have one without the other.

Until the government (and the people) take responsibility for regulating
drug sales, sporadic outbreaks of gang violence will continue. The way
to have a peaceful society is to have a society under law. The reason
everybody doesn't have to resort to violence is that we have a court
system to resolve disputes. The current system of laws has created a
$400 billion a year industry and denied it any civil recourse.

Ironically, in light of this, the individual accused of murdering a Salem
taxi driver earlier this month is a white, non-gang-affiliated Oregonian
and longtime Salem resident. He graduated from McNary High School in
1987.

Looks like he did.

I'm not defending Oregon's perceived "gang problem." Rather, I'm pointing
out that the biggest violent crime issues in Oregon in the past week
(including the baseball bat verdict) have involved middle-class white
boys.

What we folks in NE Salem don't need is more of this crap. We (hispanic
and non-hispanic) are doing what we can to stop this, but you, sir, have
nothing to add to the discussion. Go sell your intolerance elsewhere.

Your approach solves nothing and will never solve anything.

Your solutions were the ones used in Rosebud, Florida and Tulsa, OK in
the '20's against a different group of folks, but the message is the
same. They solved nothing but resulted in horrendous crimes committed.

Just stay the hell out.

Hang onto your sombrero and wait until Salem gets overrun by lousy
Mexican gang vermin like Los Angeles has. And you will. The border is
like a sieve. You have no idea..................it's a nightmare.
Check the "Latest Nightmares" web site below...and pay particular

You're right. Absolutely nothing. There is no such thing as cause

You mean like Joseph Coors and The Anheuser-Busch family? Oh wait, the
drugs they sell are regulated and legal, so no one has to mark their
territory with bloody gang feuds. In fact, you can find Coors right
next to Budweiser at your local store. Alcohol is just as nasty
as any other drug, so why aren't the Coors and Busch gangs battling
it out on the streets of Salem? Well, I guess they did back during
alcohol prohibition. Are you picking up a theme here?

Maybe Larry has a point about regulation.

And since you, our policy makers and the voters can't figure out a little

Yup. They're getting exactly what they asked for. The easiest way to
get tough on crime is to create more criminals. The underground economy
in Oregon is bigger than high tech, at least in terms of cash flow.
Stick Intel and Tektronix and Sequent and Mentor Graphics and all the
rest into one room and things get rowdy even with legal recourse. When
the numbers start running over 7 digits, the big boys start playing
hardball.

Drug traffic in Salem is easily worth over $10,000,000 a year. It's no
great wonder the kids are plinking at each other over territories.
Nationwide, the underground economy is estimated at over $800,000,000,000
a year. That's impressive.

"Intolerance" to gangs? Would that we had more of it. Your
"tolerant" attitude will get you more gangs and more violence. If you
want to rid yourselves of gangs, you need a good deal more of "this
crap", but your liberal mind doesn't want to admit it. A society of
liberals is a society of sheep, and you're welcoming the wolves.

>Your approach solves nothing and will never solve anything.

Indeed? Violence never settles anything? Tell it to the city fathers
of Carthage. It will take specifically applied violence to rid us of
gangs. When the known punishment for being a violent gang member is
swift and certain death, your problems will abate.

>Your solutions were the ones used in Rosebud, Florida and Tulsa, OK in
>the '20's against a different group of folks, but the message is the

Bullshit. These are not "a different group of folks"; these are
people who commit acts of pure violence in which they kill not only
each other but any random bystanders who happen to be standing around
in the fire zone.

>Just stay the hell out.

Enjoy the new Salem.

suggestions this year... think "Kevlar".

Do you even LIVE in the Salem area? What exactly is a "Mexican National?"
What do they mean by "8% of Hostile Mexico's Population is Already in the
US" and "Mexico: We are going to overrun you...so surrender"?

As far as I'm concerned, this is a thinly-veiled Klan site.

Wake up, dude. Out here in Oregon this biggest threat to people is
white teenagers. Mexican gangs may be up there too, but that has nothing
to do with the fact that our own citizens are just as fucked up as they
are.

I have friends and relatives in Immigration and law enforcement who
routinely work with Latinos. They're here because that's where the money
is and because it's still inexpensive enough to live. Sounds like every
other goddamned Californian in the state. California, Mexico...what's the
difference?

Read the articles..... they are legitimate. Use your brain (assuming

How absurd. We are illegally being overrun by Mexican nationals
(citizens of Mexico) who have the highest contempt for Americans and
the United States.

Been to L.A. lately? You haven't seen anything yet. You think that the
crime problem in Oregon is bad now, don't do anything about getting
that southern border sealed and illegal aliens rounded up and kicked
out....then wait for a year or two. You will kick yourself for not
being diligent *now*. It's too late for California, Arizona and Texas.
And Colorado isn't far behind. See:
http://insidedenver.com:80/news/1029ins5.shtml

You cannot keep importing or tolerating these hostile peasants without
winding up with a shitload of trouble.....guaranteed.

>

They have no right to do it illegally. If these are legals you are
referring to they are probably California refugees who are sick of the
crime (that they originally set loose here). These folks are now
overrunning Utah, Arkansas, Georgia, and North Carolina (to name a
few). Problem is that they wind up dragging along the same shit that
caused California to become a pit. Like a cancer. Just getting rid of
the illegals and keeping them out is a big plus.

Law enforcement (or lack thereof) is the difference.

Baja, where precisely do you live? What region?

What we'd like you to do is either verify that you live in Oregon and have
a vested interest in the problem or simply shut the fuck up. I smell a
Californian trying to shove his agenda down our throat.

Oh, gee whiz...there's a new thing. Which is precisely why it's
widely-carried opinion in Oregon that Californians are worse than any
Mexican here. My family and the farmers around us have used migrant
labor in the past. We've actually DEALT WITH and SPOKEN WITH Mexicans.

I'll say two things about them: 1) They drive like shit, can't read the
signs and often don't carry insurance. They're likely to freak out and
take off rather than sit around and get caught.

2) They're quiet, they don't take up a lot of space, they don't make a
lot of noise or have high demands and they know when to shut the fuck up.

I'd rather spend a few bucks on social aid for a family that is content to
live in a small place than stare across a farm that has been plowed to
build massive yuppie houses for Californian immigrants. Their (Mex)
mannerisms are different and reflect a different culture. They're used to
being treated like shit so they're a little skittish and paranoid, just
like an innocent kid that's treated like a thug all the time.

But if you treat 'em as something other than shit they're, in my
experience, very friendly and polite.

Unlike you.

So acknowledge that you're a citizen of Oregon or shut the hell up. I'd
take ten Mexicans over one of you any day.

DO YOU LIVE IN THE SALEM AREA? Do you even know what it looks like?
Are you aware of the other crime problems in that city? Answer the
question.

No, I don't think the crime problem in Oregon is bad except that we seem
to have issues with some our white middle class kids. (robbers,
murderers, rioters, mass murders, vandals, rapists...) But no, I haven't
been to L.A. Why in the name of God would I ever subject myself to such a
festering hellhole. That's like asking me if I've dunked my head in a
campground outhouse lately.

Deal with your goddamn crime problems, then, so we don't have to. The
illegals are rounded up and flown our bused out. My friends in emigre say
that the deportees are friendly, but usually a bit intimidated. As many
comedians and other people have said, Mexicans do the one thing that
Americans DON'T: Whether they run the gauntlet or work their way through
the immigration process, they're proving that they're willing to WORK just
to get here. Fact is, I admire that spirit.

Ooooh...a spray can. I'm quivering now, by god.

I always giggle when some half-baked loser calls me a liberal like it's
some kind of insult. Ironically, when I go out to Jeep at lunch, mud is
still falling off it, I remind myself that I still have to refasten the
gun rack (SKS 7.62mm semiauto, Mannlicher Shoenar 30-06) and I wonder if
anybody's officially complained about the Confederate flag on the bumper
yet.

Meanwhile, I'm debating over who I'm going to vote for because I'm a
registered Republican.

I had a drill instructor named Puentez in the Marine Corps that
I could have had court martialled, but the man earned my respect despite
his mistake. My conservationist tendencies aside, I'm in all other ways
a complete redneck.

And you're calling me a liberal. Guess it demonstrates how much you know,
how much you're willing to assume, and how little credibility you have.

Californians flee California because they fucked up their own nest or they
simply found land up here that's cheaper. They think they can come up
here in the Land Rovers and play pioneer among the old growth and they
think that they can tell Oregonians just exactly what to do. If we
disagree, well, they know all about it because, after all, they're
Californians and, as such, they're much more in tune with the real world.

How's that for a wildass assumption? Most people up here will tell you
it's the truth.

Oh we have tried like hell to get that stinking border sealed and get
rid of the millions of illegals here, believe me. But guess what?
Anti-American outfits such as the ACLU, MALDEF, the NCLR, and LULAC
have fought every move by Californians to thwart illegal immigration.
They continue to do so today. In California there is a Mexican
nationalist old fart named Mario Obledo who is head of the California
Coalition of Hispanic Organizations. The Philanderer in Chief even
gave this scumbag an award not long ago. This SOB has stated more than
once, "California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn't
like it should leave." If you are interested in hearing an audio file
of this asshole claiming that Hispanics (meaning Mexicans) are going
to take over the political system on the Tom Leykis show, here it is:
http://americanpatrol.com/AUDIO/obledomajority.ra

These are the same bozos who are screaming to high heaven about
"English only" in our schools. Speaking of schools, California's used
to be ranked very highly......but since this Mexican invasion started
they are near the bottom nationwide. Why? You tell me. One thing is
for sure: they are colonists and do not assimilate.

Then you had better get used to what L.A., Santa Ana, and even San
Jose has become.

Immigration laws are not being enforced. It is at least a deportable
misdemeanor for a Mexican or any other national to be on U.S. soil
without permission. If they are caught twice it is a felony. Now these
border hopping parasites are whining about having to do jail time
after being caught in the U.S. illegally:

"Guillermo Sanchez-Regalado, a 30-year-old Mexican with a sixth-grade
education, was among the nearly 50,000 Mexicans picked up in June
for entering Arizona illegally.

Unlike most, however, Sanchez was not simply sent back. A Phoenix
federal judge on Thursday sentenced him to two years in prison for the
crime of crossing the border."

>The Mexicans are ranting about this like crazy, but........

"Prosecutor Elizabeth Overholt, who handles dozens of the cases each
year, says the defendants get what they deserve.

"They tend to have long and varied criminal histories," she said. Two
of her recent cases included a Culiacan man with convictions for
assault and battery, car theft and robbery; and a 37-year-old with
convictions on drug and sexual indecency charges. Another defendant
had been apprehended 53 times by police or immigration authorities,
Overholt said."

In other words most of them don't give a rats ass about our laws since
they have been brainwashed since birth into thinking that the United
States is the big, bad enemy who "stole their land". This invasion is
nothing less than demographic warfare. It would be a shame to see the
same fate befall Oregon, Washington and Idaho that has befallen
California, Arizona, and Texas. I personally know many immigrants from
South America and Mexico who have been here for a while, and none want
this rampant invasion to continue. Why? They are the ones who stand to
get hurt the most (along with blacks and less-skilled others). But
clueless recent immigrants, particularly Mexicans, think that the
border should be open. Do you realize what a disaster that would be?

I guess that it couldn't have a thing to do with Southern California
being ass-deep in illegal immigrants from Mexico..... and their
vicious, violent gangs, eh?

I always had a bumper sticker on my truck when I lived up there;
"Don't Californicate Oregon". My relatives and friends in Seaside and
Eugene still proudly display that sticker. Wish I could find one
around here that says, "Don't Mexicanize California".... but
displaying it would make you a sitting duck for the vatos.

>
>How's that for a wildass assumption? Most people up here will tell you

One way to keep Oregon from being Californicated is to demand that the
feds enforce current immigration laws (including arresting and
removing illegals) and get control of the southern border..... and
stop giving public services to illegals instead of throwing them in a
nearby detention center pending prompt deportation. California
wouldn't be all that bad if it weren't for all of these stinking
illegals.

BTW, of several of us who came down to California in the 80's all have
since left in disgust but two of us..... and the other one moved so
far north that he's closer to Gold Beach than any other town.

My, that's weird. For hating Mexicans, you sure know the language well.
Call me Doctor Drew, but I'm sensing deeper issues here that this guy's
not confronting. If you're going to insult my ma, at least have the
balls to do it in English.

> Not many Californians want to leave the nice weather to go up there

When it gets to dangerous, stay the fuck there. I guess what you're
saying is that we don't have a California problem up here.

> country? Something for you to ponder, eh? Oh...and don't worry. I am
> not heading back to my home state anytime soon....... it's the next

I'll gladly explain why I'm defending them.

You see, the problem with America is poor white trash. I'm fuckin' sick
of paying taxes for social aid and then getting barraged with rants from
ignorant losers that want to blame their problems on somebody else.

"Yeah, well, I was in line for my welfare check the other day and you know
what? I saw a LOT of Mexicans...you see 'em everywhere...in jail, the
unemployment line..."

Screw you. Get a job. Get out of jail and the goddam handout line and
maybe you won't see 'em. Mexican guy banging your old lady? Good for
her. She's probably figured out that, unlike you, he's eventually going
to go out and get a job instead of collecting food stamps and giving his
spare change to right wing extremist freaks like Tom Metzger.

You poor white trash are the real blight. You're simply incapable of
taking responsibility for your own lives. You want me to pay for tougher
immigration laws to keep out the people that actually work? They do the
stuff that the PWT won't. They pick the crops, they work the fast food
joints, they pump the gas and do all the menial, hard work that white
people are simply too good to do.

The "Well, you know, I wouldn't have to live with my parents if it wasn't
for the damned beaners" argument just doesn't fly. "They stole my job,
too." So, you got fired from Taco Bell. Deliver pizzas...oh, wait, you
gotta have a car for that.

So instead, there's another construct: The "Mexican Nationals" from a
"hostile country" are invading us. No. The fact is, you're just a LOSER.
YOU'RE INCAPABLE OF FUNCTIONING. If I'm gonna spend money on your goddamn
liberal enforcement laws, I'm going to spend it deporting -your- asses to
a freaking atoll so we can justify testing nukes again.

The fact is, the PWT class is so low that they're afraid the rest of us
are going to pull the plug on them, to humiliate them and expose them for
the crap that they are. (I'm not talking about your live-off-the-land
hillbillies here, I'm talking about the kind of guys that always seem to
have the cash to buy drugs or another Nazi flag or something...)

PWT calls everybody else liberal. Republicans hate them. Why? Because
they make republicans look stupid. They give 'em a bad name. You know
how I know? BECAUSE I AM A REPUBLICAN! I have and I know others who
have worked in the state assistance agencies. We've heard the lame
excuses and we've seen the files of the people who come in wanting
handouts. It's probably not even news to you, pal, but the vast majority
of 'em in Oregon are white.

By the end of the day, you work in one of those offices you're so
disgusted with white trash victim mentality that you can't bear going
into work the next day. You just don't want to hear the excuses anymore.

I'm defending them because I utterly despise people who can't make the
effort to work for themselves when they have absolutely no valid excuse at
all. I hate them when they blame it on somebody else. The difference is
that Mexicans who are here may starve, and they may collect handouts, but
eventually they actually try to WORK for a living and here in Oregon they
don't whine when they can't get what they want.

Notice that this went from the Mexican gang problem (how we're all gonna
die from Mexican drug gangs) to a rant against hostile Mexican invaders
coming in by the millions. The true agenda here is obvious, isn't it?

I'll I'm saying is QUIT BITCHING AND GET A REAL JOB!

Always has been, from the gutter all the way to Hollywood. I think it's
kind of funny, though, if we're going to talk history. We took it from
them, then we claimed they turned it into a cesspool, right? Just like
Texas, Arizona...was a time when we were the invaders.

I'll definately listen to the audio file. The thing is, one crackpot
leader who gets airtime and does something outrageous doesn't speak for
the intent of an entire nation. Bill Clinton, for example...

Oregon's definately different. We're conservative. We don't allow the
federal government to dictate our policies. Unfortunately, we can't
imprison Californian immigrants on the second offense.

Well, yeah. We did. We invaded Mexico, took the territory that we
wanted and killed them for opposing us. If the Mexicans ARE trying to
take it back, at least they're being civil about it.

Got one. But I've never been harrassed by a Mexican. I've been attacked
by up to eight white frat boys at a time (Russell...part of my aggression
against the riot thing) in my own home, at a friend's apartment and
walking down the street going home.

Between $4 and 6 billion is sent to Mexico by Mexicans working in the

That depends. In California, Prop. 227 won which mandated English-only
education and was fought all the way by Mexican nationalist outfits
like MALDEF and LULAC. The proposition had a "trojan horse" clause in
it. Now, despite what California voters mandated, bilingual education
is still being widely used (of course Los Angeles has a vehement
Mexican nationalist school superintendent... Ruben Zacarias, a Mexican
government puppet):

"After a one-month stint in English-intensive classes required by a
new state law, tens of thousands of California students with limited
English skills are heading back into bilingual education this fall at
the request of their parents. Close to 12,000 of those students are in
the Los Angeles Unified School District, data provided to The Times on
Wednesday show. Though sizable, that number pales next to the about
107,000 Los Angeles students who were in formal bilingual classes
before voters last June approved Proposition 227. Many of the students
who are enrolled in English "immersion" classes actually get
substantial help in their native languages."

See:
http://americanpatrol.com/ENGLISHLANGUAGE/prop227waiversunz102198.html

Even legal immigrants should be required to get private instruction
for their kids if they don't speak English. This should not be shoved
off onto the backs of taxpayers. No way. Immigrants have *some*
responsibility when the relocate here. The taxpayers didn't beg their
butts to come.

Actually, what people should look at is the URL. Anyone who uses degraded
terminology, eptithets, and lies like you do cannot be taken seriously as
being either knowledgable or an authority. You are nothing more than a common
racist and USENET kook. Too bad you don't get it. Anyway, the article, which
you appropriated and distorted illegally (that makes you a criminal, Tom
Morphew...DUH!) is about one "Hispanic" individual. Where's your wrath
regarding what crimes people of all other races commit, Morphew? Your
select-o-vision is most unconvincing.

> ....or North Carolina.....

It seems that you really DON'T read the articles that you provide pointers to,
or that you simply don't understand them. The Durham Herald Sun's article was
very respectful regarding its Latino population...made them look like great
citizens who are making societal contributions while facing problems like
BajaRat-style racism, and worse.

> (These folks are really in for a surprise).

What, that your dire predictions are just so much racist trash? That's no
suprise at all to those of us who've witnessed your impotent campaign for so
long.

> Enforcement of our border and existing laws would stop a lot of this.

Not at all. All of the "Hispanics" mentioned in your two articles are
citizens, which is not to say that the law shouldn't be enforced, but you
are, as usual, really reaching (and as usual, failing) in your attempt to
libel all Latino people. Expect the usual kudos from your admirers Samoa and
Dan.

Same here...it's SO lame! Their other favorite is to call you "PC" when you

He does not represent the general attitudes of Californians, more

Most Mexican people are very decent, conservative, faithful, generous people
of extraordinary heart and manners. There are bad people in all
ethnic/national groups, naturally including Mexicans. Morphew chooses to
pretend that the bad examples represent the entire body of people who might
in one way or another be called "Mexican."

You're very astute to observe this in this manner. Given a couple of

all immigrant groups do eventually.

Yes they did, but now they're ranked in the bottom 10%. It has nothing to do
with Mexicans, though, and has everything to do with the passage of Prop 13,
20 years ago. I had the good fortune to be educated in the California public

True..... illegal immigration is a crime, yet we are literally

and most of Central America assimilate. Unfortunately Mexicans and

Yep. Mexicans in Oregon are decent, hard working family sorts. God
knows who would plant all our trees and pick all our fruit if it weren't
for Mexicans. You sure don't find many anglos willing to sweat any more.

I think the problem with LA is LA, not Mexicans. Too many California
Improved Okies who don't know that Los Angeles is a Spanish name. If
Spain had had stricter immigration policies 150 years ago, Los Angeles
might still be a decent place to live.

You see the same thing in Mexico, not that it's all good. That is, the poor
people do what they can to earn some money, even if it means sending the kids
out into the streets dressed like clowns to do magic tricks in the middle of
traffic...not a great thing, but at least poor Mexicans try to do something
rather than bitching and expecting handouts and blaming others.

> Notice that this went from the Mexican gang problem (how we're all gonna
> die from Mexican drug gangs)

It's actually an American gang problem. The gangs start here, not there.
Mexicans didn't start the gang virus, although some have been seriously
infected. The gang thing is a very, very complex problem, as I'm sure you
know. BajaRat typically uses it to say "see! this is how Mexicans are!" and
the only people who fall for it are a few fellow white trash racists who
congratulate each other every time one of them issues forth their foul gas.
It's sometimes amusing, but mostly a disgusting misuse of USENET and a
nuisance. These guys aren't accomplishing anything whatsoever except to make
themselves look like people you're glad you don't know in person.

Anyway, keep up the good fight if you're so inclined. If you do, you can
expect BajaRat to eventually killfile you...sheer cowardice.

Oh, man, this guy is already known trash? Dadgummit, I shoulda KNOWN! He

BTW, you 64'ers...seven ex-law profs giving impartial review of the ballot

Hmm. I don't know if it is quite right to say the Californians "bring"
their gang problems up here. According to a friend of my mother's, who
works at Juvenile Justice, and formerly worked for the Los Angeles
Juvelnile Detention Center, kids who are released get a "separation
bonus." They get to choose between a free one way greyhound ticket to
Seattle, Denver or Portland. Nice to have, when you need to go somewhere
the cops don't know your name.

I have also read (in the Oregonian, about two years ago) that small towns
in Mexico are feeling the adverse effects of our immigration policy. When
we send back gang members, they suddenly find themselves to be the big
tough fish in tiny ponds, and stick around to run the town. What does
that mean? We are letting people in, who are then infected with our gang
problem, then sending them back. Gangs don't come from Mexico, they come
from drug wars, and big cities. Mexico has a gang problem, but they got
it from us.

I never really considered that. We allow gangs by making drug

as far as drug gangs being American, that's an interesting argument that I
hadn't thought about much.

Mexican kid by accident, though, I'll cheerfully endorse your execution.

You're ignorant and you're a waste of air, you little punk. My
grandmother, (adoptive mother) in fact, was nearly shot in the face in
1994 when a bullet glanced off the windshield of her GMC. It came from a
white surburban neighborhood in east Portland. A fraction of inch further
down the road and the bullet wouldn't have deflected off the glass; it
would have gone through. My grandfather, who was driving, said the last
time he had a bullet come through his window was at 30,000 feet over
Germany in 1943.

According to you people, Salem has a gang problem. So how can communities
with lots of gangs have no gang problems if Salem is a gang community with
gang problems. Your fucked up logic just short circuited.

Ah, yes. Gunracks, 4x4s and Confederate flags. The perfect mold of a
yuppie liberal.

When I was twelve, some kids peeled out across the lawn of my parents'
lawn one afternoon right as my grandfather (who adopted me) happened to be
cleaning his shotgun (most effective way to kill gophers is a
twelve-guage.) As they sat their spinning in the lawn, with stunning
calmness he chambered a round, pulled the thing to his shoulder and fired
right through the screen of the kitchen window. No idea if or what he
hit, but they left so quick they ran down the mailbox on their dash to get
the fuck out.

Our crime problem never returned.

So my family has proven itself with "one of them thar" firearms, tough
guy. Have you? What you're saying is "put up or shut up," right? Have
you?

In college, about a dozen white frat guys attacked me and four other guys
at OSU who had come across campus and into our building to brawl. By the
time the police arrived, only three of them were still there. One was
missing his front teeth (thank you) and had pissed himself. The others
were yelling from across the street that they'd kicked our ass.

The police report was amusing...something about the perpetrators last seen
fleeing on foot away from the building. I figured I'd get booted out of
the Marine Corps for that but I didn't.

My point: Once again, the only problems I've ever had with anybody has
consistently been the result of arrogant white trash just out looking for
a fight. I put up. Have you?

No, no...let me say this slower so you can understand. One more time for
all you stupid people.

We employED [EMPLOYED...ED...D...EMPLOY E D] migrant workers. Not illegal
aliens. In fact, we didn't even employ them directly. The harvesters did
when they bought our trees and sold 'em to you people in Cali for $65.
HAHAHAHAHAAAAAA We sold 'em for $5 each. HAHAHAHAHAA

The weird thing is, no offense to you Californians, but did you notice how
I hit this dude RIGHT ON THE NAIL by assuming he lived in Southern
California? In the '80s, Metzger was rallying about black gangs. Now
it's the mexicans. Whatever. The black gang problems haven't killed
Portland like you piss-for-brains said it would. The average Oregonian
would rather live in the worst suburb in Portland that any middle-class
neighborhood in San Diego or LA. It ain't because of the gangs, it's

And you're developing a problem that you're going to have to deal
with, one way or another.

>What would be better off is if we deported the Californians. You people
>brought your yuppie shit AND your gang problems up here.

Grow up, Chris, you sound like a crybaby. Most people in California
are just like most people in Oregon; decent and hardworking. This
childish Oregonian anti-California crap is pretty damned infantile.
The gang problems migrated up there just as they're migrating to other
places. "We" didn't bring them to you, and "we" wouldn't wish them on
you. But there they are.

How 'bout we make sure that we're giving the dollar to one who's here
in accordance with U.S. law, and that he's not a member of a gang? Is
that too much to ask?

We've about reached the point in time, Adam, when it would be best for

Ah yes, "the structural causes of inequality". Let's just throw more
money at the problem. It won't work any better than it ever has, but
it'll sure as hell make us feel good about ourselves. And, hey,
what's more important than that, right?

Jafo has "about reached" a point in time. In his latest temporeal
reacharound, he and the rest of BajaRat's gang have almost
caught up to where the rest of the World was during the Dark Ages.

If you must reach out and kill someone, Jafo, let it be one of
your own gang. Thank you.

No sweat, Slick. We'll send 'em all over to your house for a

Of course, you'll probably end up as the main course...

Mexico is far from being the poorest country on earth. Mexicans,
however, are just about the most hostile bastards toward the U.S. on
earth. Bring over some Croatians...... leave the Mexicans to wallow in

Were you aware of the fact that U.S. immigration law allows Mexican
illegal immigrants to sign a voluntary deportation order? After signing
this order, illegal immigrants are simply shipped back across the border
where they are free to try again to cross. There is no limit to the
number of vdo's one person can sign.

Every time the U.S. congress has tried to do away with the voluntary
deportation order, it has met heavy opposition from the agricultural
lobby. Perhaps that's because they (and we) rely on illegal immigrants to
get our produce harvested and to our supermarkets and tables so cheaply?

Nothing is as simple as you make it out to be -- take time to learn about
your world, and maybe you will learn to be angry with the right targets.

Let's see here. The drugs are produced south of the border. 70% of the
drugs entering the U.S. enter via that shithole known as Mexico.
Mexico is a crime-bloated cesspool. So it's an American gang problem.

Illegal immigration is a crime.....whether you like it or not.

An illegal alien is a person who is in the United States in violation
of U.S. immigration laws (8 U.S.C. 1365). Such an alien may have
entered (1) illegally, without the Immigration and Naturalization
Service (INS) inspection (undocumented) or using fraudulent
documentation; or (2) legally, under a nonimmigrant visa or other
temporary condition, but subsequently violated the visa's terms or
other terms of entry.
