Very, very nice guy- and a wonderful musician.
Sorry for the "cultural" interruption- Get back to the Hillary/Chevy crap as
soon as possible.

I recall some very funny, clever, talented musicians...that I hadn't
thought about in years.
Were they still together???

I'm trying (unsuccessfuly thus far) to find the obituary or a story about
this. I was told that Cheese Blotto was found dead in his truck on 10/3 in
Saratoga. I doubt they were still together- I was hoping someone from the
Albany environs would help with this. Their big hit, "I Wanna Be A
Lifeguard," was only a small slice of what they could do. Funny, talented
guys who, like Albany's Knickerbockers ("Lies"), never really got their due.
Come to think of it, neither did The Units.

I read his obit in the Daily Gazette (Schenectady paper.) I believe it said the
cause of death was something about his heart. I just checked the Gazette web
site but they only have today's obits.

Sad and premature. Paper mentioned kidney / liver disease.

Actually, I saw them perform together (maybe for the last time) last year?
at the Corning Preserve in Albany when they opened for B.O.C. Great show!
They will be missed.
