I have a free afternoon in Albany Thursday.
Any suggestions for a nice place for lunch?
Is the NYS museum worth going to visit, or any other sites?
Thanks!!

Yes the museum is well worth the visit. Tho I sorta miss it being on the
third floor of the State Education Building. It was a great place to play
hooky at from good ole School 16.

Try Lombardos on Madison Avenue, right down the street from the museum

Albany Institute of History and Art on State Street is cool.
Go to the top of Corning Tower nesr NYS Museum and see Rocky's art
collection along the way.

I used to play hooky in the old state museum too.
