Hello!!!!
I'm sure you were just thinking, "Oh golly when will I hear from Jet
Set Six again!?! I've been losing sleep in joyful anticipation for
their next mass mailing!!!" We heard your calls and felt the boundless
agony in your woeful pining for our email prowess! Lo and behold! Put
your cares and yearns at ease as I bring you this June update....

Our Video To "The Perpetual Bachelor" on the MTV Indie weekend!
Our video has been submitted to MTV's Indie Weekend. Twenty of the
submitted videos will be chosen to be played on MTV this Saturday 6/26
at 12 noon (ET)/ 11 a.m. (CT). After that, MTV online will be taking
votes for your favorite video. The winner gets put into rotation on MTV
starting June 29th. Now, we don't know if we made the cut, and being
the industry's attitude about that "S" word (uh, swing...) I don't know
what to expect. However, I DO know you can still vote for ones that
have been submitted. So, this is more than just voting for Jet Set
Six. This could give the nice swift kick in the a** that the whole
scene could use, and show that there is a huge amount of support for
this kind of music! Actually, it could easily be the event that could
make the snowball go all over again. We could do it. We could save
it. Call me nuts. It's been done before! For more information, go to

Flying Indie" on the left hand frame (you may have to scroll down).
Be warned: I will be dropping you a line shortly when I find out the
specifics of the voting process, etc. We'll be watching MTV at 12 noon
this Saturday to see if we made the cut...

Lowly Gossip
Well, first of all, I must bid all the multitudes of you who were
longing for the love of Josef some bad news. Josef got married! Our
bass player got hitched! Yes indeed, he was married on June 5th (hence
our little 2 week break) to the absolutely beautiful Sarah "Johnny" Van
Sicklen. I will post a picture or two on the website of the lovely
couple when I get some pictures... I need CLEAN ones though, Josef!
So, be sure you send congrats to Josef the next time you see him!
Lately it's been more difficult (due to distribution probs) for
people to find "Livin' It Up" in their local record stores. The demand
for the record is great (if you saw the figures from amazon.com and the
amount of orders they've gotten... oh my!) If you have a problem,
please have your store order it! We need to give the distributors a
nice little kick in the rear!
Golly golly, so much going on! July should be the time in which Jet
Set Stickers will be available. As you can tell from the schedule,
we've got some exciting festivals and stuff coming up.
Also, if you haven't checked out http://www.jetsetsix.com in the
last month or so, it's going though some changes... I'll be adding the
Jet Set Pix page soon... hopefully before the end of the month.
