For those of you in Toronto and area...

LAUNDROMAT
live at the Cameron House (Queen west of Spadina)
Wednesday, March 5th @ 10:00 PM sharp [part of Canadian Music Week]

Yeah, I know, you've probably never heard of them. But you will.

I was lucky enough to see their private live debut this past weekend, and
a finer electro-lounge duo I have never seen. Music by Dave Rout (who's
been involved in a whole whack of electronic projects over the last
decade or more), vocals by Julie Ferris (Parade), with the end result
falling somewhere between Combustible Edison and the Lisa Carbon Trio.
Hell, with song titles like "Bossa Nova Baby" and "Devil's Martini", you
*know* you can't go wrong! :-)

Seriously, folks, even setting aside the fact that they're friends of
mine, their music is fabulous, and I highly recommend that you check 'em
out. Don't forget that they'll be hitting the stage at 10:00 PM SHARP!
