Raj kumar, Movies, etc

I went to bangalore for one month from jan 15th to feb 15. Well, I
was not able to see "Jeevan Chaitra", since it was not in any of the Theaters.
From what I heard, it is supposed to be a good movie. I noticed some posters
of that movie and seems like it had run for more than 25 weeks. I also
read some kannada movie magazines, to know about Raj's news. Also my aunt
who likes Raj's movies told me that shivrajkumar was upset b'cos of the way his
character has been depicted in the movie. So he has left home and staying
as "ghar jamai". And Raj's one more daughter(did he have one more?), ran
away and married someone working for him. All this made Raj commit suicide!

Well after all these Raj talked over T.V. and told "Naanu nimma
Kumara, Nimm Raj Kumar enu agilla. Gundkal idaahge idine, etc..."

With his big hit, Jeevana Chaitra he is back in to business (It was
said that Devatha Manusha was his last movie). His next movie called
"Akasmika" is due to release very soon. Apperantly shivrajkumar's latest
"Jaga mechida huduga" and Raghavendra Rajkumar's latest "Anuraagada
AlegaLu", are a complete washout.

Talking of movies did u guys know that Rebel Star Ambarish married
Sumalatha, and Jai jagdesh married Vijay lakshmi singh (his second marriage,
and he has not divorced his first wife).

Shashikumar, Devraaj and Jaggesh seems to be doing well as hero's,
ofcourse. Ravichandran has become Remake raaja. All tamil, telugu and hindi
are in kannada with ravichandran. His next movie is "Annaiah" - remake of
"Beta" - remake of tamil, Bhagyaraaja'a, movie( forgot the name).

Maniratnam's Roja is very big hit and the songs too.

roles were sort of anti-samaja or sort of a bad role-model (sorry!,
among other things, this includes smoking :-))?

Any consummate Dr. Raj fans on the net? I used to have a friend who
used to send a birthday-card [April 24th, I believe] to Dr. Raj without
fail and could tattle all 192 (in 1987?) movies in order. Amazing stuff!

Yep. Many,
1. Dari tappida maga
2. Nanobba kalla
3. Bakta Prahaladha (not exactly anti-samaja)
4. Boo Kailasa (Ravana's part)
5. Ravi Chandra

There are many of this sort. But whenever he acts such a role there will be another
Annavaru role (I mean Double Acting) who is of good character!!

Yep his birthday is on April 24th. And I have seen atleast 174 of his
movies!! and I wish to see all his movies.
We were (my friends who belong to Annavaru fans community) the regular
customers of Himalaya, Kempegowda, Geetanjali etc theatres where they used
to screen raj's old movies.
