Best Songs of P.B. Srinivos

I am a big fan of PB srinivos's songs especially old and semi old
movies. I have a bunch of casettes of his. There are absolutely
fantastic. When I hear them, it reminds me of times when I used hunt
down old movies and see them especially for the songs. If there was a
black and white movie on the TV, I am waiting in front of it the whole
time just to listen to the songs. I thought of listing some of best of
the best (in lyrics, meaning, and music) of PBS's songs ( my listing ).
I know I can't get all of them, so I need help here. If there are songs
that are not with me, I can tell my brother to record for me. So here go..

Aadisi nodu beelisi nodu (both the versions - Kasthurinivasa)
Baare baare chandada cheluvina thaaare (naagara havu)
Naavaduva nudiye ghandada gudi ( gandhada gudi)
Nee bandu ninthaga ninthu neenu nakkaga (kasthurinivasa)
Apara kirthi galisi mereva bhavya naadidu ( movie - ?)
Barede neenu ninna hesara, nanna baala putadali (seeta)
Madhuveya ee bandha, anuraagada anubandha (seeta)
There are a lot more. I can't remember off hand. I will go home,
refer to my casettes and add to the list. Until then,
the fans can join in.

Just to nitpick a little :-) shouldnt that be "Kannada nudi"?
the next line goes..." naaviruva thaanave ghandada gudi..."

"Madhuveya ee bandha...." is certainly a SPB melody.... As an aside, this
was the time when SPB started grooming himself to be a much more mature
singer than he was earlier....
BTW, some of the other PB Sreenivos's marvels that I can think of are...
"Aakaashave bhiLali mele, naanendhu ninnavanu" (movie - ??).
"Aagadhu yendhu kaikatti kuLithare..." (Bangaaradha manushyaa)
"Maanava muLe maamsadha thaLike" (Bhaktha kumbhaara).
actually, most of the songs in that movie are excellent.
"Vedhaanthi heLidhanu, honnella moNNu.." (movie - ??)
"Baadi hodha baLLiindha hoovu araLa balladhe?" (YereDu kanasu)
and many more.....

Yes this song was sung by SPB my favourite singer for
South Indian songs (and some Hindi songs). Does he continue
to sing Kannada songs ?
On a different note, I collect lyrics for Kannada songs. Could some of
you who have lyrics for songs post it on the net.

It is from the movie 'vijayanagarada veeraputra'.Oh! this is a grand
song.It has 'RN Sudharshan' [son of R NAgaendra Rao and brother of
RN Jaygopal] riding a horse to this rythmic song's background.

I have nothing against P.B. Srinivos or the way he has sung the song, but
I do object to the way they music directors have cut off the poem, sung it out
of order, etc.

How about the movie "Bhaktha Kumbara" *ing none other than our
"Annavaru" Raj Kumar. This movie had excellent songs too. Two
that come into my mind are
Hari Naamave Chanda ....
Ellie Mareyaade, Vithala ...
The song "Deena Naa Bandiruve, Baagalali Nintiruve" is another
excellent song from the movie "Sandhyaraga". I could also add
the song "Baare, Baare, Chandada Cheluvina Taare" from
"Naagarahavu".
