DVR Card software problems

Hi, I bought a DVR Card in order to view 4 CCTV cameras. I have
installed the card and the software and connected the cameras.
All is well and a good visual on each camera.
But when I go to rename or give a title to each camera (Example:
Camera 1, would be named as "Outside Hallway 2nd Floor")in the Utility
section under the heading "Camera settings" the CCTV records only two
of the four cameras. And it's always the same two cameras.

Can anyone advise?
I also want to improve the quality of the Pictures. Hence, when I
freeze a frame, and go to print and zoom in, the quality is poor. Do I
need to upgrade the cameras, if so am I looking to increase the
resulation or the pixels? Currently cameras are 360 resulation. With
36 LEDS for night vision.
Advise would be appreciated.
