This is the way I have sung it and heard it sung by others. If any of you
has a published text of this song, please post corrections, if any. Also,
the tempo of this song is 16 beats per line (one cycle of teen taal, for
those of you who know tabla; can play keharwa also) and to maintain this
rhythm many of the vowels have to be either reduced or skipped altogether.
T/D - retroflexed consonants, unvoiced/voiced, aaTa(play) / haaDu(song)
t/d - dental, unvoiced/voiced kOti(monkey) / daari(way)
L - retroflexed liquid haLLi(village)
u - (lip-rounded) vowel as in huli(tiger)
O - long o hOgu(go)
E - long monophthong as in bEku(want)
