Anyway, I shall try to complete it when I find time. Probably in the mean
while someone on our net may complete it.
Thirukana Kanasu padya kalithidhu 1971 nalli (3 ne classnalli iddhe).
I would like to save this poem, if somebody completes it.

I could only add the last line (and a few minor corrections). I learnt it in the 50s !!
The rest of it where that elephant comes and garlands, and he wakes up
etc I remember vaguely but not the wordings.
While on this, let me write the Song on Kasturi.

Perhaps the best of all is GOVINA KATHE.In 1991 Kannada Balaga in UK enacted the
song with children playing the roles. The children were perplexed to see the
elders in audience with tears rolling down their eyes. Many in the audience
remarked that the song touches the heart of all, especially since it is a
nursary rhyme too. Since there has been a movie on this "Thabbaliyu neenade
magane" it may not be tough to get the full wordings. Could someone start on
that please.. starting

Odane thanna koralinalli thodagisutuvuda kandu
tiruka, podaviyalvenendu higguthiddanu
The song in Kannada audio.com has serious errors as you can see.
For Thodagisuvudu (to put round the neck/wear) they have used THODARISUVUDU (to trip and fall down). Instead of Kari, they have used Nadedu.
I wish I didn't hear it right!
Anyway, Let us get an authentic form and share here, so that all the people
can feel happy. I will try to dig it out from my old text books collection and share.
