Position Description:
Due to ongoing growth and expansion, Stanley Consultants has immediate
openings for Senior Transportation Engineers in several of its locations,
including Des Moines and Muscatine (IA), Chicago (IL), Minneapolis (MN),
West Palm Beach and Jacksonville (FL). These engineers will:
* Serve as Project Manager and Lead Engineer on studies, design, and
construction projects, including highways, streets, roadways, tollways and
other transportation projects for respective state and local DOTs, municipal
governments, and tollway authorities.
* Ensure that tasks are completed within budget, quality, and schedule
constraints.
* Interact with clients, including interviews and proposal
preparation/presentation.
* Prepare budget and schedule for projects.
* Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
* Manage and coordinate project support staff and lead engineers from other
disciplines.
* Prepare reports; prepare, check, and approve computations and/or
technical specifications.
Experience Required:
Job requirements include:
* BS - Civil Engineering.
* PE registration.
* 8-15 years relevant experience.
* Design and project management experience.
* Competency in use of Windows 95/98-based computers.
* Knowledge of Microstation and Geopak a plus.
