This movie "True Romance" is most amazing!!! Tarantino's 2nd
awesome flick. Hmmm... I would like to discuss the end of the
movie, but feel it would be a spioler to those that have not seen it.
If you want to discuss this, e-mail me or some thing.
If you haven't seen it, GO see it
(don't let the hollywood names throw you, this is cool!)
John B.
Well, if Tarantino did anything for the movie I do guess it's most
worth seeing!

Yeah, Quentin Tarantino wrote the script and Tony Scott directed it.
Treat yourself, it's the best film I've seen this year. The Dennis
Hopper/Christopher Walken scene is wonderful.
Kaz ('You're so cool.......') McInnes
Tony Scott of Top Gun fame directed True Romance, and Quentin Tarrantino
wrote the script for it.
As I stated in an earlier post I didn't care too much for this movie, but the
scene with Christopher Walken's mafia character interrogating Dennis Hopper
saved the movie for me. Now that's great acting.
If you're going to catch the movie in the States, be preparared to watch a
different, less controversial ending than us European viewers.

Not if you live in Norway; we get the U.S. version thanks to the
double standard censors we have... the ones that banned 'Hard
Target' and gave 'Jurassic Moolah' a 10 rating (meaning that a 5
year old kid could see it with a parent).

My friends and I saw it three times in three nights last weekend. Absolutely
incredible!! Gary Oldman pretty much impressed the hell out of me. He
ws amazing, as was the whole cast. Brad Pitt did the best acting of a
stoner i think I've ever witnessed. I almost pissed my pants he was so funny.
When it comes out on video, i'm buying it.
matt
p.s. the soundtrack is cool too.

That Must have been one hell of a weekend!!! It came to the local theater
here in Ottawa (the Mayfair) with Reservoir Dogs! That was the best!
I might get the soundtrack for TR. Could you post a list of what's on
it? Just to save me the trouble of going to the Record store :)
Thanks,
John B.
3 cuts from the movie produced by the music director, Hans Zimmer
(apparently like the music in Badlands, from which TR also steals much)
Graceland -- Charlie Sexton
In Dreams -- John Waite
Wounded Bird -- Charles & Eddie
I want your Bodie -- Nymphomania
I need a Heart to come home to -- Shelby Lynne
Viens ... etc -- Delibes
Tender Trap -- Robrt Palmer
Outshined -- Soundgarden
2 Hearts -- Chris Isaak
Most of it, then, is lame-o country music that works only in the movie.
The Delibes is lifted from The Hunger. The Nymphomania is great (it's
the house music where Oldman & Slater duke it out), but it's probably a
bettr investment just to buy some techno music. & the Soundgarden's on
their Badmotorfinger album.
