ALL YOU ZOMBIES ITS TIME TO RAISE UP AND JOIN THE CARBONDALE ZOMBIE WALK
SATERDAY MAY 28 2011
Last year I took part in the Zombie Walk. Zombies were gatherig at 8:00
am behind 710 Book Store. Yo could be Zombified. The Zombie lines were
long and the Zombies were real kool well they are dead so does that make
them kool or no blooded ? Some looked really like dead Zombies or was it
from staying up too much . Do Zombies study ?

The walk will start at 4 pm at the Town Square Paviion. You can be
Zombified, When you sign up for the Zombie Walk for $10 . Ii helps
Carbondale Main Street (618) 529-8040 and I got Zombie Walk T Shirt,
20% discounts, and free pass to Zombie Movie Festival. It will be from
3 until 11 pm at Shirley Temple balcony theater inside the Varsity
Center For Fine Arts on Illinois. Reuben Fleischer's Zombieland, Day Of
The Dead, and Return Of The Living Dead. will be shown. UnRegistered
Zombies and public who are not afraid of Zombies can get in for $5.
Children under 18 are free but must bring an Adult to protect them from
the Zombies . I dont haVE $5 WIL AN Arm and a leg do &;^O
OH yes if you have been Zombified or like Zombies stop by at Castle
Perilous Games on West Main as they will give you a free Comic Books as
it is also Free Comic Book Day .

ordered a Breakfast SE&C Muffin with Hamburger instead of sausage ~
Burger King serves Hamburger after 8 am. Add
Lettice and Onion Rings on it still only $1.
and then I asked for some Finger Fries .
When the girl looked at me I pulled out a package of Gummy Finger Fries
with blood to ii in, and said "Thats all right I brought my own."
The Zombies met at the Pavillion at the Town Square in Carbondale to
register
for the Zombie Walk get their T shirt, discount coupon and armband for
fee acess yo Zombie movies, and I become Zombified. My face turned
white and eyes blackned. A scar appeard between my let cheak and beard.
A bunch of Zombies went ti the edge of
Highway 13 and waved growled and zombied at the traffic. One Zombie held
a sign HONK IF YOU LIKE BRAINS , and another ZOMBIES AGAINST WAR. One
Zombie had skeleton like hands that kept falling off. He would pick up
his hand and put it back on. Other Zombies motioned Zombie like at the
trafic and limped arround .Another Zombie dragged himself along the
sidewalk, one sat on the grrund seeming to have no feet and motioned
zombie like at the\cars. Many cars honked at the Zombies oh yes the
sign. Someone in a car who was turning right was so busy looking at the
Zombies they drove over the Curb while turning. A little bit later it
was repeated as another person turning right also drove over the curb
while watching the Zombies
I then rode mr bike Zombie like with my
Zombie walking stick on the back to Castle Parilous. Being Comic Book
Day
they gave me 2 free Comic Books and
an extra one because I was a Zombie.
Later I went theZombie movies. It had just started but wasso dark that
except for therow of lights on the stepa I couldn't have found my seat.
I sat a jug og water next to me. Later I got out French Fries
at appropriate timesduring the movies and
ate them like Zombie food. At one point a guy fell asleep and snored
lightly and some Zombies then surrounded him and wroke him up. I talked
to the screen a few
times or ad libbed a comment. During a brak I went to the little
Zombies room. My
face still looked lin mirror and saw a Zombie looking back at me so went
back to the Return Of The Living Dead getting lost trying to get back to
it. Forgot door.
After the Movies were over I went and then outside ahh stumbled outside
leaning on my stick because my foot had gonre to sleep during the movies
or was I turning into a Zombie. It was dark out and I didn't see anyone
on a street usually crowded on Saterday night. Not even at Dairy Queen a
block away where people usually sat arround outside eating DQ. I felt
as if all Zombies had taken over Carbondale and threre was no one left
except those of us who had been watching the Zombie movies. I had heard
that the world was supposed to end last Saterday ~ maybe
Suddenly I remembered SIU University was on break and most all the
students had left town last weekend.
I put my 1/2 gal. water jug ~ now empty in my baskets and my wood Zombie
walkng stick on my bike and then this Zombie having had a real great day
went home.
I hear there were Zombies on the news but while at the moviesI had
missed it. I will try to get pictures and post here. As for me I was all
Zombied out. Whats to eaattt ?
