Hello everyone!

My friend and I are having an arguement. You know the scene in Rose
Tints My World, where Columbia shakes herself out of her boostiay (sp)?
Well we want to know whether that was meant to happen or whether it was
just an accident that they decided to keep it.

Just wondering,

Melissa and her stupid friend Tina

Since (a) her nipples were peaking out the top of the bustier when
she started her dance, and (b) it's not the only time she shows her
nipples in the movie, I was assume it was intentional.

Columbia's nipples appear in the 'Peekaboo' scene and then throughout most of
the Floorshow ('Twin cherry popovers!'). They are most obvious during her
line 'Rose tint my world, keep me safe from my trouble and pain' at the end of
her Floor Show verse. They are also very prominent during the pool scene,
especially when she tries to drown Brad.

Nell also appears topless in 'Lisztomania', and you get to see pretty much all of
her in 'Jubilee'. The only film I have seen her not flash anyone in is 'The
Wall', in which she has about 30 seconds as the 'Dirty Woman' who goes down
on a guard when the groupies storm Pink's suite (during the song 'Dirty
Woman', of course). And of course there's 'Shock Treatment', although there
she flashes her buttocks and her bra at every opportunity.

Yes, but only a small hand full of US theatres are lucky enough to
still have one of these early prints. What I don't understand is
with all the other rare footage they put on the 20th LD why they
didn't include this sceane too. It's such a great commentary on
Riff's real inner soul.

Actually it's between Brad and Riff Raff. Janet is not anywere
in the scene.

: i would appreciate any info you can give me on the scene:

: where it is in the movie,

It's a little bit after the Frank/Janet bedroom seen. -While the
cat is away, the mice shall play I guess. After Frank is done
loosing up Brad and Janet, Janet goes off and fucks Rocky while
Brad gets tied up and beated by Riff.

: what exactly happens in the scene,
No to much really as it's just under 2 minites long. -At least what
was shot. Riff spots Frank on the monitor and figuring he'll be
busy for a while goes after Brad, who is found crying in a fetal
posistion(sp?) on the bed. After tieing Brad's arms to one of the
bed posts Riff gets to work. It ends shortly after that.

: if anything nasty is shown whatever you can add as i have never seen it.
It's a play on the sences really, and doesn't "show" really anything
at all. Kind of like the bedroom scenes, it's done with a lot of
shadow-play and such. -No sheet in front however.

Now the question is: How hard would it be for a cast to get a copy with
this scene? I've never even heard of it until now, and I'd like to not
hear about how precious few copies there are available.

You'd be hard pressed for a cast to get it's hands on one now.
As far as I've been told the scene was only put on a limited number
of promo prints. Like Super Heros Fox didn't think the US audences
would take to it, and so the scene was cut from the final release.
Super Heros however, was at least kept on the overseas prints, the
buttfuck scene was not.

When Rocky started to get really big in the US Fox started running
out of prints. They first pulled prints from overseas which is how
we first got Super Heros over here, and then dug up the original
promos too (only a couple dozen I'm told were still around at that
time).

Since *vary* few of the original prints (promo or first real press)
are still in use, finding one at all, let alone one that was still
usable would probably be rather hard. FYI, even the theatres that
still have mono prints probably have a copy of the mid-80's (around
the time of the 10th anniversary) and not an "original". Want to
guess how many theatres even still have one of these latter printed
monos? -You could probably count them on your left hand... :(

The last theatre I know of that had a copy was the Balboa Theatre
(who's markee is on the 15th anni. video BTW) in New Port Beach, CA.
-They latter got a newer SH mono print, wore it out to in a few
years, picked up a new SH stereo, closed two months later and moved
to the Art Theatre in Long Beach. -The BF print was sent back to the
distributer and more then likely just cut up and thrown away like
most old prints... :(

Anyone's theatre still using a Buttfuck print? The Balboa killed
it's copy a couple years before the 15th and I haven't heard of a
theatre since that still had one. -In runable shape at least...

Oh, BTW... Jason, don't you think it's about time this was put in
the FAQ? <evil grin>

Her right nipple pokes through the hole in her pajama top when she

Hm... good question. It HAD to be planned that she exposed herself
before that, after, "Yeah, well I've had enough!" Then she exposes
herself momentarily later on, too,
in the pool scene, so maybe they thought it would be in character...or her
bustier was too small...or Little Nell is a natural-born exhibitionist. :)

IMHO, they planned it...

Probably not. OIAW was an out take (cut from the begining).
B/R-BF was still on the first promo prints.

: When Does This Take Place?? While Frank Is In Bed With Janet??

: So Brad Gets It Up The Ass... Then Frank Sucks Him Off??

No no, it's just after that. Frank goes after Rocky, leaving
Brad alone and confused. Riff, knowing Frank will be gone for
a while goes to Brad's bedroom. Janet finds Rocky and gets in on
with him. Frank, pissed that he has lost Rocky goes back to Brad
just to find him getting it up the ass by Riff. Riff takes off with
Frank and Brad running after him. Which brings us upto the "mercy"
elevator scene...

Ah, shit, yeah... I remember that. The pages weren't too great overall,
but the MPEG rocked. Too bad there was no sound. I think I had some
stills taken both from that MPEG and from a newsletter/fanzine I read
many many years ago. Some of them were quite nice shots of both Brad and

CB>this scene? I mean "I've done alot" doesn't make sense if Brad only
CB>had sex once and "Down inside I'm bleeding" could mean that Riffraff
CB>didn't use any KY?

The song "Superheroes" was in the original stage play; so it
pre-dates the Brad-Riff sex scene which (like cannibalism of Eddie) was
added for the movie. My personal opinion is that the scene was added to
provide some balance for Riff and Brad's characters.
RIFF: Riff and Magenta are sibling lovers, but Magenta also has gay
sex with Columbia (a human). Allowing Riff to have gay sex with Brad (a
human) provides some balance... And you have to wonder if Riff released
Rocky just so that he could distract Frank and get his hands on Brad.
Why else would he let the creation loose and risk Frank's wrath?
BRAD: After Janet is seduced and deflowered by Frank, she goes on
to have sex with Rocky and revels in the experience. The Brad-Riff
scene, after Brad is deflowered by Frank, allows us to see the negative
effect that sex has on Brad.

These are just my opinions... I actually got a chance to ask
Richard O'Brien about the long-lost Brad-Riff buttfuck scene after
"Mephistopheles Smith" a few months ago; but all he would say is that he
hated the scene and hoped it was gone for good. I guess that means we
won't be seeing it on the 25th anniversary laserdiscs...

Chin up. I am attempting to contact a former cast member I performed with at
the Exeter St Theater in Boston around '79. The word is, the first print the
theater received during it's initial run had the B/R BF scene in it (like
Superhero's prints, Films Inc did a poor job then of labeling the film cases)
but it only ran for two weekends before the film was replaced. The
projectionist, seeing both versions, cut most of the scene out of the first
film before sending it back. I remember the story because I was at this cast
members house one night and he showed me cells of the movie the projectionist
would give him whenever he had to splice or repair the film.

One of the cells was a picture of Brad on all fours, in his blue robe, with
Riff behind him in the 'mounting postition'. I asked about this, and he said
that since the film was new to Boston at the time, and that only a handfull
of people saw the scene, few noticed when it was removed.

I mentioned I had seen people discussing the scene on the net a few weeks
ago, and he said he was amazed anyone remembers. I also asked if he would be
interested in loaning me the cell, so I can have it scanned into a Gif or Jpg
and posted, because I'm sure many would be very interested in this piece of
Rocky history. Currently he is expressing reservations, mostly of a lawsuit,
because he believes Fox did such a thorough job eliminating the scene from
practically all RH references, they might not be too happy to have proof of
it suddenly re-appear.

I am in the process of explaining the concept of the anon remailer. Keep your
fingers crossed. Also, I will try to get another look at the cell. Maybe the
background will yield clues as to where in the film the scene was cut from.

I just got aparently a photocopy of the original Shooting script for
RHPS, and was searching through it for this scene but can't seem to see
it.. where about did this scene come into the film? is it after Frank
does Brad/Janet, because i can't see it anywhere.

This was why I mentioned in another thread (or earlyer in this one?)
that I thought it was probably a last minite brain-fart of Jim's or
Richard's. As far as I can tell the scene was never writen out.
Like I said before, maybe they just had some extra film, were drunk,
bored, etc...

The scene plays in like this:

Frank goes after Rocky, leaving
Brad alone and confused. Riff, knowing Frank will be gone for
a while goes to Brad's bedroom. Janet finds Rocky and gets in on
with him. Frank, pissed that he has lost Rocky goes back to Brad
just to find him getting it up the ass by Riff. Riff takes off with
Frank and Brad running after him. Which brings us upto the "mercy"

elevator scene with Frank whiping Riff for not only loosing Rocky,
but also taking Brad...
