Fanfics, advice and a whole lotta nuthin'

anime stuff. However, I have decided to make a first foray into the sordid
underworld of RHPS fanfics, but I want to write one that's good, and accurate,
so I guess I'm asking for any general pointers about fics, and there are a
couple of things I would like very much for y'all to clear up, if possible...
1) Was Columbia actually from Earth? This is what I have been led to believe,
but I've heard rumours, and I don't recall any actual reference to this in the
film (except for what was implied in her relationship with Eddie)
well...that's more or less all i wanted clearing up...ooh, except for one
thing, can anybody put an approximate age on Brad and Janet? I was thinking
early 20's, but all I know is that they've known each other since high school
(see, I WAS paying attention)

That Perv, I always knew something was wrong with Brad. :)
Jokes aside, I think in the film Janet is supposed to be 19 and Brad in his
early 20s. In the stage play, I believe it says they are both in their 20s.

Definitely in her late teens. I believe it's in her statement in the
Crim's book.

He graduated from Denton High in 1963 (see patch on jacket), which
puts him in his *late* 20s by the time he goes back for a Science
refresher course. Again, I believe his age is in his statement to the
Crim; but I don't have access to them right now.

anyway, that's nothing we didn't know before *pulls on flame retardant
underpants and glances nervously at Brad lovers everywhere*
Anyway, anime/Rocky crossovers eh? Sounds like a project...but I shall now take
it upon my young shoulders to go to FF.net and track some down so I can see
these wonders for myself. Ive managed to find plenty of South Park/RHPS
crossovers, but no anime.
Anyways, what I have learned so far (and my own sick, twisted, teenage
imagination) should be able to throw together something vaguely fanfic-like.
Oh, by the way, is anybody heer a fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion? I have been
doing a bit of doodling (my first attempt at fanart) and it is verily the Rockt
Horror Eva Show...the vorld hold's it's breath....

Ok Janets Statement says she is 22. Brad does not give an age but I agree
totally he is older than Janet. They did not go to High School together other
wise they would have "Met" loooong before Dr Scotts Refresher course. Which by
all accounts is the first time they ever saw each other.

Was it REALLY an "Exam-it?" or was Brad simply running his sentences together
for the sake of the rhyme scheme? let's observe the evidence. If you take out
the "Janets" sung by the delicious Richard O Brien and Pat Quinn, he lyrics are
a little more like this...
"..go see the man who began it, when we met in his science exam *pause* IT made
me give you the eye and then panic"
I thought about enrolling in this school of thought, but then I went back to
school today, and decided that "examit" was more fun to say, particularly
around biochemistry teachers who looks exactly like Ritsuko Akagi....except
with a british accent...not that that would contribute to the way she
looks...hmm..
well, that was HIDEOUSLY off topic, but it's been a mad bad and dangerous
day...thanks for the tips..I was watching the movie last night, tried to get a
good look at the statements on freeze frame, but I had misplaced my glasses >_<

Yes yes yes Oh baby oh baby...That works for me...They did meet in the Science
exam...But I am betting it was the refresher course exam. (Shall we assume that
Janet was in High School and Brad came back to do an exam at Denton High School
after he and Ralph and Betty did the referesher. Its presumably a small
town...I come from a small town and we shared exam time in the great hall with
the local technical college.
