Alien4/Res Spoiler and Opinion

Okay I have heard several complaints about Ripley being brought
back,and I want to say that I think they did the best they could to repair the
major flaw in Alien 3, the one where Ripley dies. Imagine how you motivation
to watch the movie would have dissipated once they introduced the new
characters in the trailer. Half the audience would have bolted if the new main
character was male, because it wasn't enough like Ripley and they would have
thought the character to have spoiled the series for them. The other half
would have bolted if there were a woman because they would say "there is only 1
Ripley!!". So either way Fox was screwed unless they brought ripley back.
Personaly I don't begrudge them for bringing her back at all. I even more like
the way they scientifically enhanced her abilities. Imagine this, how long do
think her life expectancy is now? 300 years? 500? 1000? you saw the way she
healed from the surgery, the aliens have made Ripley a bad ass. her character
can always be brought back now. But I seriously think that Sigourney Weaver is
getting a little old for the series, and her price tag is pretty high too, so
why not shoot a few scenes where she is giving birth to a daughter, and carry
the series forward through the daughter, they could hire that model that is
Representing the Tomb Raider girl Lara Croft, (she is BAD).
Over all I think the movie did a great job. It still scared us, It
still gave us what we expected, and It still taught us more about the aliens
and ourselves. I think that the character development was nicely done. I loved
the shots of Johan's face while the guard had a gun to his head, you could see
him sweating but you knew he was more pissed at himself for not watching his
back than he was upset about being in the situation. And the way Ripley moved
when she was listening to the Aliens you could tell she was part alien!!.
These characters were REAL! I was REALLY on the ship with them, and I was
really scared for them.
This movie was much better than 3 trust me I just watched 3 again
to make sure. In 3 you never got to know any of the characters, not even
Ripley, you never understood why Ripley slept with the doctor, was it just
because she likes to have sex? or did she actually have feelings for him? In
Aliens 2 we all felt she had real feelings for Newt and Hudson.
I didn't like the newborn, because it was ugly. Aliens aren't ugly
they are beautiful. I don't think that it could have killed the queen that
easily. the Queen if you will remember tangled with the loader and wasn't hurt
that badly. Surely she could have handled the Newborn.
