Book Hungry Fan Wants Kidult Fantasy To Read

I am a big fan of the Harry Potter books and Philip Pullman's His Dark
Materials, I think they rock. I'm not one myself for writing kidult
fantasy as I'm too logically minded. I know that there are many barely
literate authors out there writing crap that will keep them out of the
industry and give good reason for the doors being as closed as they are
to new authors.
However in today's world I am sure the next JK Rowling or Philip
Pullman is out there in cyberspace, hopefully on this board. I am
making a request to be somebody who writes to their standard and with
their imagination devoted fan. I've done the rounds on the Internet,
Amazon and the local library but I cannot find books I'd enjoy as the
Harry Potter series and His Dark Materials. There seems to be a glut
of copycat books along their lines lacking the striking originally
coupled with a lack of hackneyed plot cliches. Yes, these books do
sell in reasonable quantities but like Philip Pullman said in not so
many words a good writer has to write what is in their imagination and
not tailor this to what they think the market wants as the market will
always be able to tell a fake. He said he was lucky enough to find a
publisher for His Dark Materials who had enough courage to embrace his
vision.
Okay, I did read and enjoy Philip Reeve's truly dreadful Mortal Engines
series up to book three and await The Darking Plan but that's not the
point. Mortal Engines is fantasy/sci-fi and not initially set in what
appears to be our contemporary world that Harry Potter and His Dark
Materials share. I want something that starts in the real world or at
least has an active connection to it, it makes the characters more
real.
Anyway, back to the point. Have you had commercially published book
along the lines of what I want to read? Please, please send me the
link on Amazon! Have you vanity published a book along the lines,
please email me so I can read the plot synopsis and if I like it be
your customer and fan! Have you registered/copyrighted your story and
been unable to find a publisher, I know it's cheeky but please email me
your story so I can give you feedback and be a fan.
Fans are important. Kidult fiction is strong at the moment :)
